Student focused. Lectures provided check in and assistance when required. Assignment broken down to support student success. Self directed learning encouraged in final years which is realistic to workplaces. Assessments reflected real work that would be required on graduating. Transparent with on campus requirements which has been problematic with other universities prior to enrolling at CQU. This transparency allowed for better work life balance

Student review
I really enjoyed the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) however, when I began my degree I was not told about maintaining a GPA of 5 to be accepted into an Honours year. I also wasn't told that you have to do an Honours year if you want to become a psychologist. I accepted the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) because I was therefore not eligible for a Bachelor of Psychology. This information is very important to students who are the first in their family to go to University and have no guidance. However, I gained employment before I finished my degree and have been working in the Human Services sector for 10 years now. My Bachelor and Science (Psychology) has allowed me to work in Domestic Violence Organisations where I have continued to develop professionally.
