The teachers we friendly and always willing to help us. They provided us with many resources as well as direct connections to the animal care workforce. The content was interesting, involving things such as first aid scenarios as well as animal dietary requirements as well as different diseases they can carry. We also worked on a lot of practicals directly with the animals they have on campus. However, it could become boring when finishing the work as there wouldn’t be anything to do and TAFE can be quite strict if you are absent any days, often issuing a warning letter if absent without providing any notice.

I really enjoyed the time I got to learn in both theory and practical settings, while having a group of kids my age who also had the same passions as me. And a teacher who has a passion, and love for what they’re teaching. Overall everything in my course was outlined amazingly and well planned out and written. Along with giving you all the support and guidance to help set you up for future pathways.
