A middle tier materials handling and access company with an aspirational view of their own scale and importance who seek to pay as little as possible for a role they know is worth more.
The good thingsLate model HR truck, having my fork ticket paid for.
The challengesPoor communication, vintage paper based systems, low pay for the physical nature of the role. No scales in truck or weighbridge onsite made load planning difficult, company just wanted machines moved, weren't interested in safety once the driver declarations were signed.

Supportive and diverse company
The good thingsAdaptalift have been a supportive and diverse company to work for. I have had many opportunities to move throughout the company to find a position that is suitable for me. They have been supportive with work life balance and through difficulties I have faced both inside and outside work. Adaptalift have a great culture and have built a great team of people to work with. I can’t imagine working for anyone else.
The challengesThe workload at times, but management are always there to support you

The good thingsWe are heading in a really great direction, the people I work with are amazing. Fast growing and family owned business.

The challengesNo Career progression NEVER saw a tech premoted in my years there. Constantly bringing new managers and supervisors in from other companies every six months to try stem the bleeding. Cheap labour imported from oversees by the boat load.

I have been an employee of Adaptalift for a year and half now- Adaptalift have been the best company I have worked for. Lots of support and guidance and always willing to help. Coming from a toxic work environment; I can say I am very happy to be working for Adaptalift!
The good thingsGreat bunch of people, the work life balance, the support and guidance from management in Heavy Trucks. Paid well.
The challengesLike all companies atm- struggling with finding technicians.

Great, will miss Adaptalift.
The good thingsgood to be independent and not micromanaged; company is heading in all the right directions - (mostly) (IMHO). Great bunch of people to work with and to work for. Only really left to chase bigger money in fifo sector and the adventures of becoming a gnome underground.
The challengessometimes lack of support when dealing with customers, a little lack of tooling.

Industry Leading Materials Handling Company - Great Place to Work
The good thingsGreat place to work. Great team both at the head office and in the field. Real passion to continually improve customer service and importantly safety is at front of mind. Light years ahead of other forklift companies I have worked for. Highly recommended
The challengesBeing a busy company it can be hard to get to every customer in the time that they need, however there are people there to support the customers and are keen to help.

No parts in stock always ordering form interstate/overseas in term slow customer service
Too many interstate so called managers justifying there high salaries where the frontline of the business lacks
