Had an interview a couple days ago. I asked for an expected date that i would find out waited two days and never got one after being told i would receive one no matter what. Bit disappointed and disheartening when you expect to receive one and never get one at all. It has no been 5 days and just accepted i will not be receiving one. Also a bad look on the company i will no longer be applying for a job there.

I’m about to rip my hair out trying to find a job , I am so stressed I applied for the wrong job and completely , didn’t know I looked up a cleaning job for a train service and end up applying for an age care job Now they’re going to laugh because it’s all about trains yay me!!!! Maybe they will employ me for being a clown 😂

Most Australians say... 'purpose at work matters more than pay', REALLY??? Reading that shocked me. I get it, meaningful work sounds great… but honestly, I’m happier with better pay. Am I alone in feeling this way? Do you agree that purpose really comes first?

Hey SEEKers! I believe job seekers should be entitled to a free psychologist. Because job searching is a moral/psychological trauma (and I’m not even being sarcastic). The worst part is when you get no response after a really good interview. You just start eating yourself alive from the inside. Good luck to everyone ❤️

Let’s be honest, finding work as a deaf person is a joke sometimes. I’m upfront about my hearing loss, I don’t hide it. But apparently that’s still too hard for some employers. Too often, being honest about a disability gets you labelled as “difficult” or “inconvenient”. That’s on them, not me. If work places can’t handle someone who communicates differently, maybe it’s the workplace that needs to change, not the worker.
