    Great company to work for and feel appreciated
    The good thingsFamily-friendly vibe and really great employees/teams to work with. Hard work is acknowledged so I feel much more appreciated than at other companies I've worked for. They provide opportunities (sometimes even outside of your role - this is great as you get to explore other areas or learn more about the Aviation industry and develop both your knowledge and skill sets which helps with your role, career progression but also in assisting to grow yourself as a person. They are also generous by providing little luxuries that other companies wouldn't provide/bother to do - this makes employees doing their job or working away from home a little easier, promotes a better work-life balance and shows they appreciate their employees' hard work. If you show interest in changing roles or inclination to progress in your role, they will do what they can to support you in doing so
    The challengesGrowth of the company - from starting as a small business, they have had a lot of growth (especially in the last couple of years) so keeping up to date with the new faces and implementing new processes now they are a larger company has been a welcome challenge

    Definitely would work here again, fantastic company.
    The good thingsAMS management were very helpful and I worked with a great bunch of people on site. Lots of courses on offer to further your learning knowledge.
    The challengesThe flies and sometimes short staffed (not because of AMS) due to Sodexo not providing enough people.

    Supportive Work Environment
    The good thingsI have never worked in a place like AMS. I get to work with some amazing team members and can have a laugh with my manager. It is a tech savvy company, very busy, not for the faint hearted if you don't like to put in the hard yakka. AMS give back - flexible working arrangements and an online learning platform for upskilling in aviation, safety, IT and wellbeing topics. There is an unofficial and fair give-and-take culture - management are down-to-earth and supportive. From what I have experienced, the people look out for each other here and support each other.
    The challengesNot a place for the faint hearted, those that are technologically skilled, or don't like to give 100% to their role. The business has been growing at a steady pace for years, and it is still hard "carrying the load" while we recruit support personnel.

    Staff are their number 1 asset and they are there for YOU!
    The good thingsThe people, and managers, the CEO, the founder. They are all amazing people. The company started up 25 years ago, and is still running hard in a tough industry. They treat you with the utmost respect and look after you. I have never been happier than working for AMS. They took me in when I was struggling and let me work in an area I am passionate about. They assist me and help me develop. THIS is what every company should be about.
    The challengesGetting used to being treated with respect and given every opportunity to grow and develop. After working for several bad companies in the past, it was very hard to adjust to their kind and caring culture.
