    No support from upper management
The good thingsI enjoyed my role. Operations manager was very supportive
The challengesUpper management is driven by squeezing as much out of operation for as little as possible. Overtime pay is not given, overtime hours are expected. Time in lieu is rarely granted

I wouldn't go back, management was more focused on sticking to a time schedule than quality.
The good thingsI got to meet some lovely people in the aged care home.

    Aug 2015
3 to 4 years in the role, current employee
    Hard work
The good thingsNo split shifts finish early 6:30- 2:30
The challengesNo salary reviews only rubbish personal ones ,this is a job you keep until you loose it. It is challenging because the staff budget is tight so you really work hard all day non stop and no breaks so work fast and you might get out on time. And if your management there is no resnoble overtime you could work all day for your rubbish pay and not receive an extra cent.
