DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY if you want your mental health in tact
The good thingsI made many friends over the years being here and have formed some really great relationships.
The challengesManagement are toxic, do not take any consideration to your performance or mental health. Expect the world but deliver nothing in return. work burnout is a real issue. They state your family but when something goes wrong they through you under the bus and do not care.

Not good mate. Endured a lot then gave up.
The good thingsSome nice empathetic, helpful ,gustsy people.
The challengesWork is often dumped suddenly and disproportionately onto those who are already stretched thin. Processes change constantly, and there's little regard for how that impacts structured, hard-working consultants physical and mental health. Feels like Jail.

Managers are out of touch. They take pleasure in pulling apart everything you do. They offer no support, and when you point out anything its the same old story it will get better 5 years of it will get better and it never did. What got better was my coping methods to get the work done, as there was no support, I was working from home, and I was able to keep my workload moving, but at a cost. Both mentally and physically. The moment I decided I was not coming back was such a relief. Yeah, the idea of having no job was such a relief. If you want to work for a place that does not care about you, then apply now, they are always hiring...
The good thingsI was able to work from home.
The challengesA claim load of over 600, where others in the team had a workload of around 100-200, when brought up after years of being overworked and stressed, and after countless meetings advising this, the management decided to get rid of the team's top performer, someone doing 3-4 staff workload.

Do it for the wage as a gap filler if you need one.
The good thingsThe above average wage is good, flexible enough to work from home.
The challengesThe "care" displayed is just to cover themselves, they don't.Mental health is still treated like it's a disease. No chance on moving around and building a career here.

A good all round employee willing to give everyone the fair go, pay well and rewards commitment.
The good thingsOnce you have proved you understand insurance process, how to interpret policies and show good customer service skills you are left alone by your direct manager. There are so many opportunities for secondments and diversifying your career path
The challengesAcronyms! When I first started the acronyms were a vertical learning curve. But in time you speak the insurance language fluently. Lots of different computer systems.
