    Rewarding experience and great team
The good thingsAmple time to understand and learn my role. Rewarding experience bringing patients through the course of their treatment and seeing their improved results firsthand. Great team within my clinic but also the neighbouring clinics who are a phone call away - this is super helpful and fantastic for support.

A great established company to work for.
The good thingsI’ve been enjoying being part of an established company that genuinely wants to be helping people build confidence and improve a patients hair regrowth. It has been exciting to see positive results on a patient and to see them gain more confidence. I also enjoy being part of a healthy culture and team environment as it allows me to show up and do my best each day with ease.
The challengesVery few challenges. I feel that I’ve experienced great communication with other employees and upper management which allows any concerns to be resolved from the start.

I fractured my ankle on the way to work and hopped one leg onto my train, off my train and all the way to this job and was told by my boss that “we all make sacrifices”
    The good thingsNothing. Nothing. Nothing.
The challengesFelt very unsupported in this work environment. Found myself sobbing in the toilets on more than one occasion.

Working for a company that has been in business for 60 years.
The good thingsRewarding work with a great team of staff and clients. Working with Consultants/Doctors/Management to help clients get results. Communicating with other staff members from all our A&M clinics. Learn new skills & opportunities to take on new tasks. Working for a company in business for 60 years.
The challengesHours can be long in some clinics, but it means you can get long weeks!

Dandenong VIC 31751 to 2 years in the role, current employee
I have worked at all three locations here in Victoria. Dandenong is my favourite place to work, Gladstone park is a fairly relaxed work environment as well as Dandenong. Our Southbank clinic is quite busy and can be stressful if your unable to stay on top of the work load.
The good thingsGood team working dynamic. Everyone here is efficient, helpful and good with communication. Our long term admin is a fantastic trainer and has helped me a lot with honing my skills.
The challengesWorking with other clinics can be a challenge and having reliable staff to work with. The long hours can also be a drainer, if applying, make sure your travel time is at most 30 mins from the location by public transport or car.

Southbank VIC 30061 to 2 years in the role, former employee
Being the first call center representative of Ashey & Martin, I felt very welcomed and at ease by management an. The transition from my marketing research background back into customer service with A&M went smoothly thanks to the supportive and attentive team at A&M. I made great memories there and I'll always be grateful for the opportunity that was given to me.
The good thingsManagement and staff are willing to help and answer any questions or concerns you have regarding work tasks/duties. As a customer service presentative, the work is straight forward and fun. Other benefits include access to some of our treatments, close distance to cafes and free gym membership access.
The challengesAt first the software may be challenging but after a week or so it becomes extremely easy to learn and things progress naturally from there.

Ok for quick entry level experience but not a longterm career
The good thingsTasks are simple and easy to learn, central CBD locations, yearly raises keep up with minimum wage
The challengesTargets are hard to hit, hours are long (9-7) and not flexible for admin/reception, very attentive middle management

Good money as long as you have no social life or home responsibilities.
The good thingsThe colleagues working in the clinic are great, opportunities for decent bonuses if you hit sales quotas.
The challengesPoor management and onboarding since the replacement of their HR with a computer system. Superiority complex from head office management towards those working in the clinic. Very long hours where you are mainly expected to babysit the desk during the afternoon and late hours.

    Would not recommend.
The good thingsOffice location is good, cafes and shops nearby. Everyone I worked with regularly was really nice and easy to talk with, which made everything much more enjoyable. Work is fairly easy however does get repetitive overtime.
The challengesLong hours and 7pm finishes. Basically minimum wage. Micromanaging and overbearing middle management. No career progression. High staff turnover. Not eligible for wellness benefits until 1 year of service.

Perth WA 60009 to 10 years in the role, former employee
There were endless opportunities to upskill and do more. Develop myself as a person and as a professional, as long as I was willing to speak up and and ask the hard questions. Outside the box thinking was encouraged by some in management which is where these opportunities come from.
The good thingsOpportunities to flex your creative ideas. Possible career progression Great people to work with who can bounce good ideas off and challenge others
The challengesEvery now and then, there is someone who will throw you a question that you just don't know the answer to, its a great learning experience that can help you define the type of leader you want to be.

The good thingsI worked at A&M for more then a decade and across different clinics. I personally had great support from management and colleagues during my time at A&M. Great team which made work enjoyable. Feeling of job satisfaction when seeing patients achieve results.
The challengesThe 7pm finishes can be a bit hard. Performance/ pay reviews should be conducted more regularly.

Rewarding . All the very best to the beautiful people at Ashley and Martin xx
The good thingsI loved working for Ashley and Martin mainly because it is not considered work when you're alongside a great bunch of people with positive attitudes and high spirits. You can't help but get a real sense of job satisfaction when you work alongside others who are all willing to support each other when/if needed. Along with our friendly and easy-to-approach patients, our sweet-natured Doctors with their professional but calming demeanor and when the clinic is buzzing with ambiance, I can assure you you will get the most of working with Ashley and Martin.
The challengesLate hours, sometimes 7pm finishes, but that was only difficult as I have a 3year old at home. Other people in different situations would feel differently.

A supportive workplace with approachable management and a customer service driven team
The good thingsFor over a decade, I have found my field of work very rewarding and am grateful for every opportunity Ashley and Martin have given me to develop my skills and career in a supportive workplace. After years of hard work and dedication, I have recently been promoted again into a more senior management role which I feel has been possible with the encouragement and support of my colleagues and management, in an environment that recognises staff effort and achievements. With 23 clinics nationally and internationally, there is always a helpful and supportive colleague just an email or phone call away.
The challengesPersonally none. Perceived challenges should be viewed as opportunities for growth and development in all aspects of life.

    Not good at all
The good thingsThe work itself was very easy
The challengesLong hours, low pay, in-fighting, dynamics within the clinic could be hostile, not an obvious grievance process, inequalities between admin and sales staff, unrealistic targets, and a head office that didn't care at all. I wouldn't recommend A & M to anyone; working there made me miserable. AVOID!!
