The good thingsIt's a fast-paced company that allows you to make a positive impact on the healthcare sector and society in general
The challengesDue to the speed at which the company works, there can be long hours. This is off-set with flexibility and autonomy

Could be such a good company if they had the right people in place.
The good thingsThe remote teams working in the field. Great bunch from various backgrounds.
The challengesNo communication from any managers. When you contact them they don't return calls. Getting expenses paid is a nightmare and ... specifically in the remote management teams the managers were totally incompetent and out of their depth.

Great people on the ground; poor support from the company itself.
The good thingsTravel throughout the state. Working in a small team - we became family.
The challengesCommunication from Aspen management is very, very poor. I was required to submit my qualifications, experience and immunisation status multiple times, because the different departments within Aspen fail to share information. I have been unable to fully claim my expenses, as Aspen has never provided me with the basic information (employee/payroll number). The company is moving far beyond its ability to support its staff.

The area of this company I worked in felt like I was in the forgotten area of a massive workshop.
The good thingsMy pay rate was fair. Work security was at a high level.
The challengesmultiple management that all gave different instructions and directions. Managers that had no clinical understanding of my position or job so ability for them to understand floor issues was out of their field. Also that management was always on a change of person and not in the same state. Maternity clause in the working contract was not clear and no one could be straight forward with my options. In the end I did not take the maternity leave pay as it was not confirmed that a full position would be available for me under changes and that due to the clause I would have to pay it back. This was not shown in my original work contract but was issued to me when I asked for the maternity leave paper work. Staff leave authorisation was always given at last minute, making working in a rural setting hard to book transport in time. Their was no options to improve my training and increase my career. OH&S issues were lost once under upper management.
