Positive work environment, positives outweigh any negatives.
The good thingsThe office environment is positive and supportive, with a collaborative team culture. The staff are approachable, flexible, and work together like a cohesive, well-functioning work family.
The challengesThe role involves meeting high targets/KPI's, the remuneration is unfortunately comparatively lower than that offered by other RTO's.

Aurora is an RTO that has a built a very good reputation, and stands by the level of training it offers to our clients.
The good thingsWork from home opportunities and freedom to create business opportunities
The challengesLearning new systems and processes in an RTO space, however this is expected and there is much support and guidance to navigate.

Absolutely horrible, would not recommend this training institute to anyone
The good thingsIt was good at the start when I actually had stuff to do and my trainer actually called me so I could complete my assessments, but it became boring as I am now sitting here with nothing to do, and my trainer has not called me on many occasions
The challengesFacing the pain of boredom and tackling the switch over of trainers
Team AuroraThank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect the level of support Aurora aims to provide, particularly in relation to trainer contact and changes during your training. Quality support is something Aurora places a strong focus on, and regular communication and consistent guidance are important parts of the student experience. It is disappointing to hear that this was not your experience. Feedback like yours is important and helps Aurora continue reflecting on how support is delivered and experienced by students. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and we wish you all the best for the future.

Left me with a bitter taste in my mouth regarding working in training, not sure I want to be this kind of trainer
The good thingsSome great employees who are willing to help
The challengesAll about KPI's and unrealistic targets. Expecting 1 or 2 units from school students per month, never mind nominal hours and helping the student understand the units being done. Employers are not accountable for training school students on a traineeship, just cheap labour to them. Being watched via your calendar and having to account for every single minute of your day.
Team AuroraThank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your recognition of the supportive colleagues you worked alongside, and we are sorry that your experience left you with this impression of the industry. Aurora understands the importance of balancing expectations with quality training and meaningful student support. Student progression, genuine learning and quality outcomes remain central to Aurora’s approach, this includes working with employers who can provide students with valuable real-world experience as part of their traineeship. It is disappointing that this was not reflected in your experience. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, we wish you every success for the future.

Most of the team were nice to work with but management conditions just made the work environment stressful and unfriendly.
The good thingsMostly nice people to work with.
The challengesSome management treatment to staff was varied and in some occasions very harsh. A lot of micro-management making working conditions very difficult at times.
Team AuroraThank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your kind comments about the team and are sorry to hear that aspects of your experience felt stressful and unsupportive. Aurora wants every employee to feel supported, respected and able to do their best work. Feedback like yours is important and helps Aurora reflect on how leaders support their teams and how the workplace experience can continue to improve. Culturally disrespectful
The good thingsNothing good to share.
The challengesZero consideration of your opinions. No respect for other cultures. Some people just don't like new team members from other cultures. Worst experience.
Team AuroraThank you for sharing your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your time at Aurora felt disrespectful and unwelcoming. Aurora works with students from many different backgrounds, and creating an inclusive and respectful environment is deeply important to the organisation. It is therefore especially disappointing to hear that this was not your experience. This was a frustrating place to work
The good thingsI enjoyed the team I was working with
The challengesOwners are very one-eyed and dictating. The service they provide is less about quality and more about the bottom line.
Team AuroraThank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that your time at Aurora was frustrating, and we appreciate your positive comments about the team you worked with. While Aurora, like any organisation, must operate sustainably, there is also a strong focus on the student experience, student progression and delivering quality support. It is disappointing to hear that this did not come through in your experience. Feedback like yours is important and helps Aurora continue reflecting on workplace culture, leadership and how organisational priorities are experienced by employees. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and we wish you every success for the future.

Hired for one role and given another
The good thingsFriendly staff, locally near home, casual work but treated like an employee. Team work low and pressure to get quota of workbooks from student is unrealistic.
The challengesLow pay verses company need
