    Definitely a school of choice, highly recommend.
    The good thingsI would like to start by saying the Principal at Henley Brook AIC has to be one of the most welcoming and caring colleague I have worked with. I want to come into work everyday because the environment is uplifting and inspiring.
    The challengesChallenges of establishing a new school is profound as known, leadership and teachers approach has been accomodating to feedback.

    I would recommend employment here for all teacher especially Muslim teachers as the environment enables you to fully practice your religion.
    The good thingsI have enjoyed working at AIC Dianella. All the staff have been lovely, and the overall environment has been warm and welcoming. I believe AIC dianella has created to great balance of enabling students to assess Islamic education and the overall Australian curriculum.
    The challengesSome students can be challenging but no more than any other school.

    The best workplace
    The good thingsI had the opportunity to work with Mr N Khan and Ms Hayes and after moving to another state, I have yet to have the opportunity to work with great leaders like them! They have faith in their staff and were always there for me, having an open door policy.

    A worthwhile place to work and be challenged, but be prepared for hard work and personal sacrifices
    The good thingsLovely students who want to learn and succeed. The community also respects teachers and their contributions. The college has a positive message about young people and young women and what they can contribute to society
    The challengesHigh expectations on your time. Parents, students and the administration can be demanding and have very high standards that may or may not always be achievable.

    This school wants to have very high results. You have to be ready to work hard and give 100%. I enjoyed my time there. It taught me a lot.

    The challengesThey only accept explicit teaching. If you don't know that style of teaching you will feel stressed.

    An environment where the staff care about one another
    The good thingsStaff are friendly and supportive of one another. Great to be in an environment that is so culturally rich and diverse. Executive Principal is very approachable.
    The challengesKeeping up with the continual growth of the organisation - but that is only challenging to the extent that you have to continually look for ways to be more time efficient (normal for all work places).

    Rich cultural experience for me in a very diverse mutli-curtural enviroment, were the children actually achieve acedemic results equal to the best schools in Perth which makes me feel proud.

    Pleasing and enriching
    The good thingsAustralian Islamic College is consistently one of the highest performing school. It has been a great pleasure working here. The administration is supportive and caring. Ample opportunities are provided to the teachers for their professional growth and career enhancement. Teachers do take AIC teaching position as a career job. I have met the teachers who have been here for the last thirty years. The students are from Perth Muslim Community and very respectful to the teachers and elders.
