I have heard at least 5 people say it is the worst company they have worked for, avoid at all costs.
The good thingsGood team, simple products.
The challengesManagement not receptive to any change or improvement. Strict lending policy. Poor income and reward. Non existent culture. Old and very conservative views from senior leaders. Don’t understand difference in cost and investment, restrict spending at any opportunity. Just awful, nobody willing to improve and make real change. Teams don’t align to achieve goal, team aren’t held to banks values.

    Branch Manager

11 to 12 years in the role, former employee
Had some great times working here and enjoyed the small bank ethos.
The good thingsSmall institution that is more like a boutique bank rather than a big conglomerate. Good working with most of the people but like all institutions there were good and some not so good people. Good support if you are connected to the right people within the bank.
The challengesThe marketing of this bank is really very poor. I was often expected to go "looking" for clients and sales outside of the branch environment because the marketing team didnt have the budget to advertise properly in my particular area. Even though I was employed as a banker I often felt like I was taking on the role of a marketer as well. Upper management tend to be rather distant from the rest of the employees.
