An unappreciative company that fails to value its staff.
The good thingsMy peers...fellow drivers. Great bunch for the most part.
The challengesWarehouse managers had close to no idea how challenging the job could be for their drivers out on the open roads...we were constantly hounded over overtime and times of departure and arrival. When they weren't satisfied with your answer, they'd simply go behind your back and ask your colleagues instead. Promises of long term work came to nothing. I put in nearly a year's worth of hard work. For nothing.

management changes all went down the tube with the restructure and more areas of delay mixed mood among all staff.
The good thingswhen you have a company that is on the ball and understand its staff and each of there roles it family orientated, but when its run like push and shove as human being not prone to working like robots there will be issues that where they failed misrably
The challengesworking as operational warehouse makes one able to keep in touch with all, and see whos able to do what to seek advancement for those that do perform the taste at hand.

An eye opener on how not to run a business.
The good thingsOther guys in the sales team and the different customers you got to deal with in a daily basis
The challengesManagement with no people skills what so ever driven purely by data and micro management from the owner all the way down to state based managers. Limited support and a toxic culture of mistrust from everyone.

    Aug 2018
1 to 2 years in the role, former employee
Managers don't know how long it takes the average driver to complete the entire run Long hours on the road
The good thingsMeet lots of people every day As a delivery driver
The challengesYou must leave on the dot at 9am to start your 18 to 20 drops Beat the traffic then when you get To the first drop you may have to Give the customer 5 or 6 parts or 10 Parts depending quantity they order Lots of times as soon as you delivery the goods the customer changes his mind and says return for credit. (RFC) then you need to load up all the parts in the back of the ute because they are credits, then put every delivery back in order from the closest to the furthest in the ute.
