Positive work environment, opportunities to grow.
The good thingsCollaborative work environment, good people, good work life balance. Like-minded individuals
The challengesSometimes the projects are not as exciting as bigger tier 1 projects, but this is also a positive as the bigger projects can come with more stress

    Supportive, Positive, Rewarding
The good thingsWorking here has been such a good experience for me. The team is genuinely supportive, the work is interesting, and there's always been opportunities to learn and grow. The vibe is professional but still really down to earth, which makes coming to work easy.
The challengesLike any workplace, there can be busy periods or challenges, but overall it's a really positive and rewarding place to work

A genuinely fantastic place to grow your career with an amazing team who understand work-life balance!
The good thingsWorking here has been incredibly rewarding. The supportive team, flexible work-life balance, strong career growth, and inspiring leadership make it a rare workplace where culture and professional development truly thrive.
The challengesLike any fast-moving company within the industry, things can move quickly, which sometimes means needing to adapt to changes or new processes with little notice. However, the supportive environment and clear communication make it manageable and a valuable learning experience.

    Fantastic Culture & Development Focus
The good thingsThe culture is so welcoming and friendly. Everyone is happy to help and coach you especially as a new starter. There is such a big focus on personal and professional development and the leaders of the business are more than happy to do what they can do drive this.
The challengesI wish I could think of something even critically constructive - I have nothing but nice things to say.

As someone who worked there for a considerable amount of time I felt it had a strange culture and despite meaning well on the surface, weren't really interested in practising what they preach.
The good thingsGreat people to work with in the project teams
The challengesOnerous management style, borderline micro management. Constant interactions with higher management during the course of Projects. Unrealistic goals. Management behaviour can be unpredictable at times.

Like a Yoyo, from hero to zero.
The good thingsSome good people to work with.
The challengesFrom my perspective management will micromanage staff. This style of management diverts pressures away from management and places this on staff who a delivering their project's. In this instance an already difficult project. I won the TICA award Team work, Integrity, Client Focus and Accountability, to be let go within the same year on the same project. I note Superintendent, Architect and clients all gave glowing references.

Great company for people who are hungry to succeed!!
The good thingsGreat culture with a clear company goal to strive for continuous improvement on all fronts. A real commitment to become that contractor of choice to all new and existing clients. Work life balance is one to be envied driven by trust and accountability to work as a team allowing everyone to get that balance.
The challengesMain challenge I feel would be lack of ability in certain project team members abilities.

Pleasant, comforting, enjoyable transition from old job to a new career.
The good thingsBeing a privately owned organisation there is a real family vibe to working with colleagues across three states. You can email anyone and they will reply. Everyone is so helpful and the company focuses on staff offering business improvement ideas. Super friendly and not politics or ego management as you get in larger organisations.
The challengesLearning new habits and jargon is always a challenge when you start at a new company like remembering everyone's name.. eeek especially considering I am hopeless at names :)
