    Great for a low stress casual starting job, building multiple useful skills
    The good thingsIt's highly flexible, and it is a low stress job, and perfect for a starting job. It also builds your social and communication skills with customers and helps build your initiative and quick thinking skills. Not only that, it has a range of various skills from customer service to store cleaning.
    The challengesThere was no interview, only a very brief & un-detailed training for a fortnight with a casual staff member, learning what to do by only watching & using your initiative, hence many mistakes will be made, often at your expense. Customers can also be hard to understand at times with language barriers

    its been ok but I don't recommend working for more of and mental and physical health reasons
    The good thingsI enjoy some of the people that i work with
    The challengestrying to find time for assessments after school if I'm working and also have a hard time after working with my hands swelling up to the point I'm in constant pain the following days

    I enjoy working at Baskin Robbins, but I do believe it has limited me into new jobs that I can find.
    The good thingsI loved being given more opportunities while working at this job. I was given so much responsibility given I have only been working there for 8 months. I enjoy the work, I am just looking to tailor my jobs into something that can be helpful for my future career.
    The challengesTrying to balance this job with school was a challenge. Plus working late hours and then having to wake up early for school was not ideal.

    A fun and exciting place to work.
    The good thingsLoved the fun and happy work environment. Getting free ice cream was always a bonus and everyone is extremely friendly.
    The challengesSome customers can be very difficult to deal with. Late work hours. Stressful during summer rushes. Boss was difficult at times.

    I put everything into the store and received nothing but complaints due to lack in consistent stock supply.

    The challengesAtrocious senior management across Baskin Robbins Australia. Never supplying correct stock, always creating difficulties for staff. Inconsistent and disorganised.

    Steady with a few problematic moments
    The good thingsvery good balance with school as there are late night shifts available. Pay rates are great with extra being payed on weekends and public holidays.
    The challengesOccasional difficulties with management, particularly when sick and therefore unable to work. Unreasonable dismissals.

    The challengesWe get quite busy at times and it takes great team work to make it through the few hours of rush, whilst keep customers pleased and the shop as clean as possible. Otherwise it is pretty good work and loads of fun!
