I loved helping customers just didn’t like the management techniques and ethics. You are just a number not a person.
The good thingsLoved helping my local community and selling products.
The challengesThis business was very difficult to work for, I’m very glad to leave. I think the values and ethics are questionable. Management never had time to mentor and guide.

    Great working conditions and team
The good thingsSmall business means a lot of flexibility. Colleagues are like a family and lots of regular customers that you recognise and become friends with. You're an important member of the team, as opposed to just a number like some larger businesses. Staff purchase opportunities are amazing.
The challengesOften frustrating trying to compete with big business pricing. Not a lot of room for promotion or career development as most branches are owner-operated. Conditions and environment can also vary immensely between different owner-operated branches.
