If you enjoy low pay, poor management and being treated as a number. You will love BUMA.
The good thingsFantastic workforce, professional and capable. Unfortunately they are completely let down by management.
The challengesWorkload is unrealistic and many people have suffered burnout. If approached with solutions or improvements, management are just not interested. Never forget, you are just a number.

    Unfortunately disappointing
The good thingsThere are some excellent people working in this company. If you're willing to put your hand up, there are solid opportunities for professional growth due to evolving and underdeveloped nature of the business.
The challengesThere's uncertainty. Low morale. Mediocrity seemingly rewarded. Some toxic individuals. Poor communication across the business. Decisions that don't make sense.

if you see this company hiring, run.. do not apply even if you are working off site.
The good thingsdont be fooled by the multiple good star reviews.. this place is bedlam & in shambles. I work fulltime for this company and i still dont feel secure. Managers here have a authority complex. You raise issues constantly & nothing gets done. Collegues are sometimes the only good thing about this place. regardless of if you work away or on site in the head office is horror.
The challengesmanagement and the authority complex they all have. constant work place micromagagement by managers and will be ignored for months on end.

It’s great to part of an exciting and energetic company with big growth ambitions.
The good thingsBUMA is a great place to work. The atmosphere is vibrant and enthusiastic. Every team member is encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and pursue learning opportunities. The culture is pragmatic, and employees work together to solve problems and get things done. There are opportunities for professional and personal growth. And BUMA has committed to nurturing the right talent. Technology initiatives are well supported, and it’s rare to have the opportunity to work on such a wide range of exciting projects in the tech space. BUMA’s journey over the last 2 years has been nothing short of an extraordinary and I look forward to the next few years.
The challengesProcesses are still being developed or remain in a state of evolution, occasionally resulting in inefficiencies or ambiguity. This is due to BUMA being a relatively new company. Current working being undertaken will help address this and streamline work practices.

I feel fortunate to be part of the BUMA family.
The good thingsAmazing Colleagues: The people I work with are not just colleagues; they’re like an extended family. Their support, camaraderie, and positive energy make every day enjoyable. Engaging Work: The projects I’ve been involved in have been intellectually stimulating and challenging. It’s refreshing to tackle interesting problems and contribute to meaningful solutions. Empowerment: BUMA truly empowers its employees. We’re trusted to take ownership of our tasks and make decisions that drive results. This autonomy fosters creativity and innovation. Social Events: The social events organized by the company are a highlight. From team outings to company-wide celebrations, these gatherings create a strong sense of community and help us connect beyond work. Cutting-Edge Technology: Working on exciting tech is invigorating. BUMA keeps us at the forefront of industry advancements, allowing us to learn, experiment, and grow.
The challengesBeing a young company, BUMA faces some growing pains. Our processes are not yet fully matured, which occasionally leads to inefficiencies or confusion. However, I believe this is a natural part of our evolution, and with time, we’ll refine our workflows.

Don't be fooled by the 5 start reviews!
The good thingsGood camp facilities and some great blokes on the crew were about the only positive things.
The challengesIncompetent supervisors with no "hands on" or people skills. Micro management seemed to be trained into them, unless you were in the "Purple Circle". Constantly doing "band-aid" repairs instead of actually fixing the problems. Little to no special tooling. Lack of parts just to do simple PM services, let alone to do breakdowns! Constantly being told it's "BOOMA" not BUMA, if this is the case then spell it correctly!

Dynamic energy, growth-focused, caring and supportive teams.
The good thingsWorking at BUMA has been an amazing experience. The company has worked hard to foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere between teams to enable shared goals to be reached. The office space is comfortable and enjoyable, and we also have fun social events that help us bond and enhance well-being. As a relatively new company, there's an exciting and dynamic energy which encourages innovation, creativity, and adaptability among team members. It's refreshing to be part of an organization that values new ideas and continuously strives for improvement. All in all, my time at BUMA has been filled with growth, learning, and a sense of belonging to a team that truly cares about its employees and the work we do.
The challengesBeing part of a new and growing company has brought a demanding but meaningful workload. I have never worked somewhere where I can so clearly see the direct impact of mine and my team's efforts on the company's growth. It is incredibly exciting and rewarding to witness the results of our hard work.
