Worst job I have ever had
    The good thingsNothing, absolutely nothing.
The challengesOlder employees treated the younger ones terribly, expected to work 10 hour days only get paid the normal 8. No training but expect you to know everything and to never make a mistake.

The good thingsVery collaborative environment, opportunities for growth and people are genuinely happy in their roles.
The challengesThe firm has some 'traditions' or 'the way we always do things' barriers to overcome.

Amazing work culture with fantastic benefits and great opportunities for training and development
The good thingsThe best feature of the firm is how incredible the work culture is: Everyone is so friendly, supportive and accommodating. The work/life balance is also very good - Carroll & O'Dea don't just preach this benefit - they follow through and are very flexible and considerate with staff needs.
The challengesNothing that I have encountered

Great culture and a fostering environment
The good thingsOne of the best things about working at CODEA is how approachable everyone is. You can walk into most partners' offices and they will give their time to help you where they can. They offered competitive salaries and I genuinely felt that the business wanted the best for me. Would highly recommend someone to work here.
The challengesSeating arrangements can be a bit of a problem as the business has grown so much recently. This is dealt with well by management though.

    One long roller coaster ride
The good thingsThe support staff, monthly staff lunches
The challengesHierarchy, no perks, no bonuses, not enough staff relief and no incentives for career progression if your not a professional (lawyer)

My experience was very good whilst working at codea.
The good thingsIt feels like you're working at a family at Codea. Everyone is super friendly and there is an open door policy. The 'Speaker Series' they host and internal seminars are particularly good benefits.
The challengesOpportunities for Law Clerks & Legal Assistant's to progress in the firm are limited.
