Working in community was great but some internal behaviours were bad and were tolerated, resulting in multiple staff leaving
The good thingsDiverse work and opportunity to work autonomously in an interesting environment
The challengesLack of support and help on the ground and poor behaviours that the organisation did not deal with

Educational but challenging in many ways.
The good thingsGood facilities and access to remote work opportunities; ability to work autonomously on projects
The challengesas a graduate I was given very little supervision and support, the demand is high here with staff shortages, I would not suggest any graduate Podiatrist come to CAAC, the role here is best suited to more experienced Podiatrists.

Challenging, rewarding, sometimes confronting; I'm a better person for the people I've met and the things I have learnt.
The good thingsWorking in Aboriginal community control - on the right side of history! Dynamic, agile Aboriginal leadership. Also, very sophisticated in terms of systems and processes.
The challengesVery busy, sometimes unpredictable. Its a big shift from city living, but that isn't all bad.

    Great learning opportunity.
The good thingsThe working environment is really good, you learn things that you normal would not learn in a city. I love the fact the program I work in offers working in partnership with other agencies, allowing to use my skills and to expand on other skills.
The challengesWorking with other agencies and the client- tell, however it is all a learning curve.
