The challengesNo two days are the same, like in any sales role, so you do need be able to adapt to new customers and new environments

The challengesAbility to handle rejection, most customers do say no. Correct setting of goals.

One of the best places I have personally worked at over 8 years in the industry.
The good thingsGreat opportunity for growth across both Australia and New Zealand. Plenty of campaign diversity across many different clients and industry types, so if a role isn't right for you, opportunities exist within a completely different work type & environment for those with the right attitude and mentality. Excellent management staff, great financial opportunities and really cool clients!
The challengesThere is not much allowance for poor attitude or bad work ethic. The company model is designed around looking after hard workers and unfortunately, that means turnover can be high.

    Great outcomes for hard workers
The good thingsSupportive management team and great people
The challengesThis is a high-energy role and does require a lot of self-motivation and dedication to get the most out of it. There are great commissions and bonuses for people who put in the work, it's not a job you can clock in and clock out and not do anything in between

I have had the most enjoyable 3 years at this company and plan to stay here.
The good thingsThe management of this company is fantastic. They have high expectations, and will do everything in their power to help you succeed. In terms of career development, there are many opportunities to accelerate your career in leadership or management roles. Hours are extremely flexible and you have the ability to schedule shifts around your lifestyle.
The challengesSelling in different environments, to different demographic of people can be challenging however the management help overcome these challenges by providing advise and help with their experience and skills.

Good learning experience and vast majority of locations and clients.
The good thingsIf you are able to hit sales targets on an hourly basis you will earn and be given shifts. High commission on some products.
The challengesIf you do not meet your targets on an hourly basis you will be sent home within the first two hours.

Chameleon Customer Contact is a breath of fresh air in the world of commission-only Sales & Marketing companies, in the sense that they have a base rate salary and care for their employees wellbeing.
The good thingsIF you are an outgoing person, the world of sales will treat you well. And as far as Sales & Marketing companies go, Chameleon has been extremely fair and pleasant to work with amongst the many companies I have had the opportunity to be involved with. They are very good at creating positive team culture, provide constant training and support, the salary is comparatively high for a role with no prerequisite degree/qualifications, and management genuinely actively engages in hiring and retaining in a high quality fashion.
The challengesSales. All the challenges that come with working at Chameleon come from the challenges of Direct Sales. Be it Kiosk, B2B or Telemarketing campaigns that Chameleon has to offer. IF you do not possess a high amount of resilience and patience for rejection, then direct sales will be a challenge for you everywhere, not just with Chameleon’s campaigns.

    Excellent introductory sales position
The good thingsLoved the management team, always super helpful and great to work with. Good money with plenty of opportunity for bonuses and commissions on top
The challengesRoster can be all over the place, not great if you have lots of other commitments. Hours vary based on results so nothing guaranteed.

Love the management and sales team. 10/10 would recommend.
The good thingsIf you like learning then this is for you. I came from zero sales experience so the training was essential to me lasting as long as I have. They’re always willing to train you and help you achieve your goals. The company wants to reward your good work so if you’re a resilient and hard worker then definitely apply.
The challengesThe biggest challenge comes from the customers, not the company. You’re handling a lot of rejection day to day so you’ve got to be able to let it go over your head.

Personally growth, professional growth and career growth is everything I have and still currently experiencing with CCC.
The good thingsCCC have so many career growth opportunities. This is the first place I have worked where I feel valued as an employee. My opinion is always taken on board and direct/upper management are very approachable and always willing to help you improve. They take as much responsibility as they expect their employees have, which is hard to find. I also have never been asked to do something that my manager wouldn’t stand beside me and do as well!
The challengesDirect sales is already a challenging position so having supportive management and team really helps when working for CCC.

The good thingsYou get lots of exposure to how the business units work, and if its your time to shine you will get recognition and the benefits that come with being in the spotlight.
The challengesGetting a hold of resources can be tricky at times, it pays to be the squeaky wheel that gets the oil.

If you're a person who values integrity, this is not for you.
The good thingsYou have an autonomous role, meaning you have flexibility.
The challengesThere are things that are not explained during induction, and when push comes to shove, you are on your own. Superior will just wash hands clean and will deny any accountability.

This would be the last company I would ever work for again.
The good thingsThe only good thing about the company was working with the other sales reps.
The challengesChallenges were plenty. Placing reps in shopping centres where meeting KPIS were difficulty. Always running out of stock. Management would not listen to suggestions that the reps might have. The company have no ethics or value

The good thingsIncredible growth & varied management opportunities, strong employment stability with so many different clients, campaigns and marketing channels to be involved with.
The challengesMomentous growth has brought with it challenges around out-of-comfort-zone / quick learning requirements, autonomy often not for the feint-hearted.
