    Join the sinking ship!
The good thingsThe early days- drive to win
The challengesThe challenges are real! over the last 12 months since we were purchased we have found a number of senior managers join the business with little or no experiance in our industry which has resulted in a extreamly high turn over of staff at all levels.

A genuinely positive experience in my workplace. I feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow.
The good thingsGreat team environment with endless national and global opportunities for development.
The challengesWhile I haven’t experienced challenges that impact my work, the team and business remain committed to continuous improvement and staying adaptable to evolving priorities.

A fast-paced & supportive place where motivated people can make an impact and grow with the business
The good thingsCivilmart is a supportive and fast-moving business where you can make a real impact. The leadership team is approachable and encourages accountability and ownership, which gives people the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the direction of the business. There is a strong operational focus, and teams work closely together across functions to solve problems and drive results. I’ve found the culture to be practical, collaborative and focused on continuous improvement. It’s also a place where people who are proactive and solutions-focused can grow quickly and take on new challenges.
The challengesLike many growing organisations, things can move quickly and priorities can shift as the business evolves. This means you need to be adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. There are opportunities to continue improving processes and systems as the business scales, but leadership is generally open to feedback and ideas on how to do things better.

Great supportive team, career development is encouraged!
The good thingsI’ve had some great opportunities since joining Civilmart/IPA. The business has supported me to undertake further study to help develop my career, which I’m really grateful for. The team is very supportive and there’s a strong culture of everyone pitching in to help each other out.
The challengesLike any growing business, there are always opportunities to improve internal processes and communication across teams. With the continued growth of the company, further streamlining of systems and workflows has been at the forefront of the HR team!

Was very happy to finish my contract in Dec. My direct report was great but too many bosses
The good thingsThe location and parking
The challengesThe whole onboarding of new employees. Huge breakdowns in communication between managers. Very catty and toxic work environment. My direct report was great but another manager made it almost impossible.

Stable work if you are happy to be just a number but HR and management are 100% profit driven not people driven.
The good thingsStable work with mandatory benefits, occasional work lunch / bbq
The challengesHR personnel that are working for senior management only and don't have any intent to represent or support the branch level working staffs needs or concerns. Management removed from what really happens. If you are happy to be treated as just a company number go for it, typical big corporate company.
