Batteries. not fix it.I thought it was better then the previous company. More money ,van and tools supplied. 6 month contract. Then no longer met their culture. 6 of us that transferred over were let go. More than likely we were in our 60's . Just have to push batteries or tow it.

The good things2023 had some supportive management but again limited in their abilities due to the hierarchy

5 weeks was the only good part. The pressure of meeting unrealistic kpis, no family/work life balance. Shift times all over the place. Management filling you with false hope of actually moving up in the company.
The good thingsTools and uniforms supplied
The challengesManagement team not willing to stand up for their employees. False hopes and being blocked from career progression

If you enjoy working for duplicitous management with an inability to communicate, then this is the place for you.
The good thingsA diverse environment if you are working in Roadside Operations. The opportunity to manage your own time. Great Roadside Team Members.
The challengesThe expectation that one must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and not be compensated. Dealing with Upper NSW State Management that are untrustworthy.

A learning experience of the type of business one should probably avoid at this point.
The good thingsGenerally speaking, the people within the business are pleasant to deal with. The business is in a transitional phase and they recognise things need to change in numerous areas with active steps in the process across the board, from management to technology and systems. Work life balance is good but I think this is more a reflection of a poor culture.
The challengesMany managers have been around a long time having been promoted from within, often showing a lack of interest in different ways of thinking / working from new staff. Bit of an us and them culture with management. Systems and processes in many departments are outdated. Poor development opportunities for staff and low engagement.

A business that truly \"Brings the Values to Life...\"
The good thingsI started off as a contractor in a different role and loved the company culture, values and ethics so much I couldn't think of anything I wanted more than a permanent role with an awesome organisation. Have really felt like I come into my own thanks to the supportive team environment and freedom to manage team my way! I have never experienced to honest (sometimes blunt), feedback on how to improve the processes and systems. It is an honour to be part of a team making a difference to both the company and those we represent - thanks for the opportunity Club Assist
The challengesBalancing the work load and resisting temptation to take work home, as Service Support Managers, we spend a fair bit of time on the road supporting our team, so time to look at and create reports / keep on top of admin can sometimes be a tricky balancing act...

Great professional development, particularly for support functions under the business partner model
The good thingsEnd to end accountability of the position, able to leverage information and best practice with different regions, professional development through a variety of project work (regional and global), collaborative and open relationships with stakeholders.
The challengesCultural change and flexibility can be challenging at times however initiatives to address these are under development.

Overall caring organization which looks after people
The good thingsEveryone is friendly and given it used to be a family run business they still maintain those great things you see in a family run business. Business really care about the people.
The challengesCareer opportunities are hard to come by given the flat structure of the organization. And lot of positives depend on your line manager.
