Great place to work, thoroughly enjoying my time here. Reasonable level of diversity and therefore representation, highly talented colleagues and generally a supportive culture. Great teamwork happens a lot here. Would be good to see more senior female leadership and increased impetus on professional development for all staff.
The good thingsThis is a local Council covering a broad and diverse area from coast to country. For the most part, this is a fantastic place to work. Friendly colleagues, supportive environment and hard-working individuals.
The challengesSome tech seems old and over-complicated. Some programs simply get in the way of efficiency. One or two departments with poor morale, micromanagers and questionable workplace culture however perhaps this would be expected at any company.
