Really liking my time here and doing work I enjoy!
The good thingsGreat culture, social and fun, people are friendly and supportive
The challengesSome of the systems and programs are challenging at times but nothing that can't be overcome

They like to splash cash around and produce fancy ad campaigns but at the end of the day there's nothing of substance here. The narcissistic middle management and SLT make it a toxic mess of a workplace.
The good thingsYou can get away with doing very little work, they have no idea what they want to happen, so just sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Free coffee on Mondays.
The challengesThe company is a 12 year old startup that never grew up.

It was great until it wasn't
The good thingsThe overall company vibe was great, with the most inclusive and diverse workplace I've ever been part of, and management seemed to walk the talk. I would recommend this company to anyone in IT/Testing/Dev or Marketing based on my experience with the wider team.
The challengesThere is ongoing and blatant bad behaviour from a few members in the Home Loans team, which is unfortunately pretty much ignored by management. This affects the culture badly. If you have no empathy for others, it might be a good fit. Otherwise, it will affect your mental health.

    Amazing Employer and Workplace Culture.
The good thingsThe work culture is something that I have never seen before. Everyone seems to be happy to come to work. High value and frequent incentives. Very achievable KPI’s. Team Leaders aren’t really seen as your typical manager but instead a friend. Some days I didn’t even want to go home.
The challengesHonestly, there’s nothing! I absolutely loved this job.

    I've found my life-long career!
The good thingsA supportive and vibrant office, with leaders who understand the true meaning of work/life balance. The opportunities for internal growth are incredible & the CEO walks the walk every day & interacts with his fellow "meerkats". A truly great place to work.
The challengesNone - absolutely love coming to work every single day.

    Excellent place to work
The good thingsIncredible training, patient and understanding management, excellent comission system and plenty of room for progression and growth
The challengesTypical office politics from time to time, HR can take forever to actually get anything done but otherwise there aren't really any challenges

10 years and still so much to change
The good thingsthey need people right now so you might get in the job and it's a chill environment to work
The challengesManagement does not care. The work-from-home is gone. Don't be fooled by the job advertisement and interview process when they will say flexible environment, it just means you may reach the office at 8.45 instead of 8.30. their flexible environment is the default you get in any other company, to begin with... there will be management staff who will actually note the timing of the card entries and when you WFH, you would need to apply it as a leave...

I would recommend working in the GI Call Centre to anyone who enjoys a vibrant and motivating work culture, as long as you have the resilience to push through some challenging customer interactions
The good thingsFantastic culture and amazing support from team leaders. I feel like I am always coached in such a way that I am adequately motivated and praised for my achievements
The challengesSometimes customers are difficult to deal with and there are situations that feel out of my control based on my position. However, I think this is pretty common with any customer service role

Great place to work, heaps of potential!
The good thingsGreat team to work with, awesome culture. Everyone seems to get along and heaps of fun team bonding activities like lunches out of the office on a Friday to have a beer and get to know everyone. Technical innovation is encouraged and the tech stack is really modern in a lot of areas with plenty of opportunity to learn new things. Heaps of hands on experience with cloud technologies. Supplied all the equipment we need to do our job, brand new Macbook on my first day. Supportive CTO who is very encouraging of the IT team even though sometimes the way he delivers the message is a bit strong.
The challengesA few low-performers that from the outside don't appear to be effectively managed. Office is a bit out of date and could use a renovation. Heavy influence from the parent company who has archaic policies when it comes to corporate departments such as group IT for example implemented a very restrictive corporate proxy that blocks many productivity tools. They say no to a lot of things that have nothing to do with them and often slow down technical progress. Business does not always listen to their staff about changing strategies to be more modern and be less aggressive with outbound calls to leads generated from our website.

Compare the Market made me enjoy going to work everyday.
The good thingsSuch a fun and bright environment. The team leaders and managers are always supportive and motivating. It's like a family there, everyone supports and encourages each other. It's actually fun to come to work here.
The challengesCareer development isn't there for everyone. Big emphasis on sales so it's hard to get out of that, and there's limited opportunities that come up. Work life balance is hard in the first half of the year but that's mostly down to the health insurance industry and it's peak months.

    Fantastic place for salespeople
The good thingsSupportive work environment, great opportunities for learning and extra money, fantastic management and HR teams
The challengesThe work itself is challenging and can wear you down, the product being sold isn't suitable for everyone (in my opinion)

The challengesThe senior management iis very unprofessional technically. From another hand they do not really need to :-)

I learnt a thing or two, some things that will stay with me for life, sadly I just couldn't close the deal.
The good thingsThe working environment was fun, bright, and it had the most spectacular view. The lunch room set up was light and airy, spacious & modern. I loved going to work each day - I felt privledged to work in such a nice company.
The challengesIt felt chaotic and loud at times and was unlike any other call centre I had previously worked in. The challenge wasnt the customer service side for me, I just couldn't sell. This disappointed me and I was eventually relieved of my services.
