My experience at CPL was disheartening, marked by poor management, ignored communication, and a toxic culture of nepotism and favouritism. The good thingsThe only meaningful part of working at CPL was supporting the clients.
The challengesThere is a clear and ongoing culture of nepotism and favouritism, where certain staff are consistently prioritised for shifts and opportunities based on personal relationships rather than merit. This creates a toxic and unfair environment for others who are equally (if not more) committed and capable.
HR is unresponsive, and management regularly ignores staff emails, even when the matters raised are important or time-sensitive. Communication is poor across the board, and concerns are often swept aside or spoken about behind your back rather than being addressed directly or professionally.
Unless you’re part of the “in-group,” don’t expect fairness, consistency, or genuine support in this workplace. I wouldn’t recommend CPL to anyone looking for a healthy, respectful, or well-managed work environment.
