A lot of work for little remuneration.
The good thingsConvenient location to work, great people.
The challengesPoor pay and long hours. Despite management indicating intentions to implement better practices, this was rarely seen through.

It’s not all bad.....but bad management is the primary problem
The good thingsI enjoy promoting a brand that I also enjoy as a consumer. Good place for cricket enthusiast. Also meeting interesting and diverse people both staff and visitors to the Arena. In my role you get to play host to guest teams, interstate visitors, patrons, volunteers, players, everyday is different.
The challengesCommunication, self interest, low to no engagement from managers to my role specific area, being unheard, management form views without appropriate feedback and resolve form involved personnel.

Fulfilling from the job stand point. I loved what I was doing, however the organisation did not allow for one to grow in their career or assist in achieving higher goals.
The good thingsWorking with Cricket clubs and young cricketers aspiring to make a career out of cricket, great relationships and networks that were built in the community.
The challengesGrowing cricket in rural areas where population is small but desire to continue playing cricket by those living there was always a great help
