Used to be an awesome company to work for, but has gone downhill. They used to care for their staff, but it seems no more. I've seen many strong people not be able to cope.
The good thingsWorked with amazing staff and customers. Good staff discount.
The challengesHUUUUGE workload demands from HO. EXTREMELY high stock levels. Lunch cover cuts means less time for customers & you are always behind & feel obligated to do things in your own time. Physically & emotionally taxing.

Only apply for a job here of you have 6 hours a fortnight free, that's all you'll receive and there's no chance of bettering yourself in this company.
The good thingsMy store manager and fellow staff members. We always had fun and a good laugh every shift
The challengesNot enough rostered hours. I had to find a 2nd job to make extra dollars to pay the bills .

It has had its ups and downs but the tight knit team is what has carried me through.
The good thingsComraderie with peers, opportunity to travel overseas.

It has been a good working experience but I think that I am ready to find something a bit more suitable.
The good thingsThe other team members I work with make the job worthwhile. I also enjoy helping customers who are looking for something in particular and always try my best to meet their requirements such as suggesting another store or ordering the item online with free delivery. It makes my day when I have a customers compliment my efforts and want to pass that information to head office.
The challengesCurrently there are a few too many people working in the one store. Management could be slightly better in these sort of situations.

    Great experience!
The good thingsWorking in a fun, challenging environment where you get the opportunity to grow and develop as a person, a leader, and a professional in a fast pace industry. You build a great relationship with your colleagues as well as the customers.
The challengesMaintaining KPI's on slow days especially when dealing with a low socioeconomic area. Makes you want to push yourself that little bit harder to achieve daily and monthly KPI's

Great place to work if you love customer service and can deal with good and bad days.
The good thingsDecent staff discount, very open approach towards training, very open with help to find info re job description or wages, some lovely staff and management to interact with, effort is rewarded.
The challengesPay rate is ok not great. You must be a capable multitasker or you will struggle. Unfortunate tendency towards interstore politics n nitpicking can sour your experience very quickly. Kpi's are a constant focus but the calculations which work out results are skewed.
