Was fun while it lasted and could do so much better with good management!
The good thingsWorking with dedicated colleagues that pushed ahead despite the toxic work environment.
The challengesSystems and procedures that were written by people that don't know the business. The disconnect between a government business enterprise trying to operate commercially with public service mentality. Being paid bonus payments and allowances. Enterprise Agreement to be reviewed and conditions will worsen.

I would return to DHA in the future!
The good thingsOverall friendly and helpful staff. Flex day once a month makes up for overtime. Great superannuation, workload carefully managed to spread as evenly as possible across the team. Exposure to many different scenarios in Residential Property Management.
The challengesSometimes difficult tenants. Slightly outdated / slow IT systems reducing efficiencies all round. Peak workload over Dec/Jan, difficult to take leave around this time of year.
