    Good but has flaws.
The good thingsThe people! I met some of my lifelong friends there, some people that i will always check in on
The challengesThe hiring process so in summary the people. Some people would be hired based on being friends with the manager, and these people were lazy and incoherent.

The good thingsDoing deliveries to people and interacting with others. frinedly working enviroment.
The challengessome people may try to push work onto you. it can be busy and stressful in the fast pased enviroment.

Good as a 1st job whilst studying , but I wouldn't want to be there long term.
The good thingsMoney . That's why anyone works :D Cheaper pizzas
The challengesChildish and manipulative behaviour from shift runners (typically aged 15 - 18) and most of the instores. Yes, they were children 14 - 18 yrs old but my gosh, they were so lazy, so toxic and stuck to their phones instead of doing their job.

    Unaccommodating and unprofessional.
The good thingsOther employees were kind and considerate, tried to make me feel welcomed within the team.
The challengesSomeone allowed their two young children into our workspace on one of my shifts. They were unsupervised and only given an iPad to occupy them. Management also put me in uncomfortable situations despite me advising them that I have an anxiety disorder.

Really good for a first job and pays well, but will diminish unless you acquire a casual position.
The good thingsThe atmosphere was really nice since the people were friendly and it was fun working with others during busy hours. Always kept busy with something to do, whether it would be delivering, making pizzas, packing orders, cleaning etc. The job is very easy to get use to and simple to explain to newer employees.
The challengesThe Park Ridge location is probably the busiest in the area, and with it comes extreme rush hours. Although manageable, orders are coming in every second and everyone must be quick on their toes to ensure there is no delay. Due to there being so many younger employees taking over casual shifts, I could not get much hours of work for weeks. This led me to realising I needed a new job since I am not getting paid enough to earn a living.

horrible, wouldn’t even wish it on my worst enemy.
The good thingsclocking out and going home xx
The challenges- low hours - dirty workspace - little to no training - expected to know everything after one month of 3 hour shifts once a week x - lowkey underpaid - bad customers - working alone in first few weeks

Reliable, adaptable, and motivated, quick to learn from challenges in fast-paced environments.
The good thingsWorking as a delivery person has been a great experience where I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and being part of a supportive, fast-paced team. I’ve learned how to manage my time well, stay organised under pressure, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates. I take pride in providing friendly service and ensuring every delivery is completed safely and on time. This role has helped me become more confident, responsible, and adaptable.
The challengesAt the beginning, I found it challenging to communicate confidently and keep up with the fast-paced environment of a busy workplace. I made a few mistakes initially, but these experiences helped me learn quickly, improve my communication skills, and become more efficient in delivering tasks under pressure.

Good at the start, horrible by the end.
The good thingsGood coworkers, discounted food ,and easy job to do basically just drive around and get paid
The challengesOwnership was a nightmare, constantly having to ask the owner to give shifts even when they said they would put me on. They had no clue how to run the store and made the working environment extremely uncomfortable when they were there. Incompitent leadership aswell as not showing up to work when they rostered themselves on because they "couldnt be bothered".

Good place to work for a year or two, wouldn't recommend sticking around for ages though.
The good things- You're essentially being paid to drive around and listen to music or podcasts. - Free/discounted food. - You get to form a bond with other staff members that will last, great banter all around. - Occasional tips from generous customers are quite nice. - Most managers that I encountered were pretty chilled out and not highly strung. - Management were very understanding when I had family emergencies occur during my time there, and allowed me as much time off as I needed for this. - The training modules were quite easy to get through.
The challenges- Customers can be quite difficult to deal with at times. - Getting another uniform is an impossible task. I remember asking multiple times for another shirt when uniform orders were put in because I only had one, and I never got another shirt. - Very little to no fuel reimbursement when you use your own car. - Working close shifts is extremely draining, and you can sometimes get out very late if there's a lot of clean up to do. - You'll be working during big sports games, which can be busy, and too bad if you want to watch. Missed about three quarters of a State of Origin game because I was working. - Working nights means that you'll most likely miss social events. - Asked management to be put on open shifts many times, but I kept being put on closes. - No real rewards for good driving.

    Very poor management, workplace drama
The good thingsServing customers, delivery and making pizzas
The challengesWorkplace drama, immature managers bringing drama into the workplace, managers cutting corners, managers allowing delivery drivers to speed and cutting the hours of those who don't.

Not a great working enviromentManagement was terrible. Zero training. No respect for food safety or cross contamination, not to mention the safety of their team members. Threatened to fire me for crying after humiliating me to my peers. Chronically understaffed. Ghosted me after I requested a uniform after two months of working there.

I would not recommend working for dominos ever as it’s very low pay and have to use your own fuel and work til late and they don’t care if you have a speech impediment and they don’t pay overtime or penalty rates on weekend
The good thingsI didn’t like anything at all and delivering pizzas was a very low pay wasn’t what I was expecting as they don’t pay overtime
The challengesThe gps domino’s app which i didn’t like as you had to go slow to get the pizzas to the customers and the staff wasn’t very helpful towards me and was always short on notes or something and was always in trouble by the shift manager

The textbook definition of a standard first job.
The good thingsOverall a good workspace to be in, in the sense that everyone is polite and works well.
The challengesLate nights and consistent nagging from management to work more when unavailability is clearly stated.

It was good when it was good and very bad when it was bad. tips were nice but not nice enough to put up with the amount of mistreatment in and out of the store. My limitations were not respected. I work very hard but i have limitations and when they push you they dont like a no as in answer ever! VERY UNDERSTAFFED!
The good thingsthe pay, full time casual is good pay for people with little experience and skills, busy days so time passes fast
The challengesfast paced, lots of work, age gaps e.g. adults working with children who work hard or non at all and get paid very little.

Community is nice, work is chill and not all customers are nice which is expected. Winter is a nice time to work, Summer can be unbearable. Nice job for high schoolers.
The good thingsThere was a lot of flexibility when it came to hours. Everyone was chill and it felt nice working there. There were bad customers but that’s expected, not everyone is happy with the explanation that advertising makes food look better than it actually is. It’s a good job for high schoolers.
The challengesWhen it gets hot, it gets really really hot. The store manager took away the AC due to us using a lot. Since it’s a kitchen, it gets hotter inside than outside. Working hours during the summer can be difficult and I think it made it easier to get sick.

A very good place to work if you want to network with the immediate area community.
The good thingsMade friends with new co-workers. Learned the delivery region where I work in better detail. Learned how to use new technologies to assist in completing my tasks. Applied university studies, first aid experience and security licensing in order to fulfil my roles and gained experience in dealing with safety, security, customer service, and hygiene harm minimisation.

One of the best starter jobs around.
The good thingsAs a delivery driver for close to 3 years I really enjoyed it. Although the rush hours could get a bit stressful, as a whole it was a very chill place to work at and earn some bucks.
The challengesAs with any position in food and service, the rush hours could get stressful. These were pretty short lived though and the in store staff were on the ball.
