    The good thingsI could not find any positive thing
    The challengesHorrible management, So many changes. No support whatsoever. Too much infighting between staff. New manager is a biased unsupportive, loud with very foul language

    First impression last long.
    The good thingsWorking first time in an aged care facility can be changeling but it is rewarding. The work environment is good and welcoming. Most of the resident are easy to take care and to deal with. Management is very reliable in any way, most of the staff are easy to work with.
    The challengesWhenever some residents give the staff a hard time when staff is just giving the best care for them. Whenever some staffs are not following specific procedures or standards of care that is implemented by management.

    Challenging vocation but very rewarding in the end.
    The good thingsI like working with the team at Doutta Galla Footscray Aged Care facility. We learn from each other a lot. I enjoy working with staff and families in looking after our residents.
    The challengesThe challenge of meeting the deadline, meeitng KPIs, back-to-back meetings, and resident events are all part of the job, but they are all good challenges.

    The two positives working here are aged care experience and salary packaging.
    The good thingsSalary packaging benefits.
    The challengesNo on-going training plan for certain employees. Employees have to learn new skills for tasks on their own accord. Salary increments are quite meager. A simple task takes twice the amount of effort and time to complete due to inefficient procedures.

    it feels great to work as a member of doutta galla and provide compassionate care to the lovely residents of the facility. great opportunity to work under experienced and skilled staff which help broaden knowledge and skills in ourselves.

    I would not recommend this place to anyone, primarily to anyone that is seeking a place to provide their loved one with Quality Care.
    The good thingsThe Residents were the only good thing. Most staff not caring and only there to make a living and will not do a thing to assist a resident if they can avoid it
    The challengesA poor approach by Management to quality care.
