An exceptional place to build a global career by contributing to large-scale projects within a structured and methodical environment
The good thingsMy time at DSV has been a genuinely rewarding experience. The work is consistently challenging, allowing me to significantly develop my skills on projects with a truly global impact. I particularly appreciate the opportunity to work with many different parts of the business and see how our collaborative efforts contribute to a larger, shared vision.
The challengesAt times, the decision-making process can seem slow, though this is an understandable characteristic of a company needing to coordinate complex operations on a massive scale.

My experience as an employee at DSV has been dynamic and rewarding, with endless opportunities to grow, lead, and contribute to a high-performing team in a business that never stands still.
The good thingsDSV is an incredible place to work, with a strong, supportive culture and a team that’s driven, collaborative, and passionate about what they do. The leadership encourages growth and development, offering real career progression for those willing to step up. It’s a business that never stops moving and never stops growing—there’s always something new to learn or achieve. If you’re looking for a dynamic environment where your hard work is recognised and your potential is supported, DSV is the place to be.
The challengesFreight and logistics definitely keep you on your toes—like solving a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded while answering calls and sipping cold coffee. Things move fast, priorities shift quickly, and no two days are the same. But if you enjoy thinking on your feet and like a bit of chaos with your coffee, you’ll thrive here

Professional growth through hard work and determination.
The good thingsHaving the support through my colleagues and peers, which have enabled me to grow my career in a professional environment.
The challengesI consider myself very competitive, what I don't like is falling short, but with DSV's support structure I'm able to turn negative experiences into knowledge and gain a vast array of industry experience in the process.

DSV does not sit still, it's constantly evolving. Keep an open mind & you won't be bored or stagnant.
The good thingsOpen, honest dialogue with Director of Finance, especially during the current acquisition. Management are very obviously trying to keep staff informed as much as they can. Have come a LONG way professionally under the guidance of managers who have a lot of knowledge & experience. Flexibility when required.
The challengesNegativity from people who are not motivated enough to have conversations to change their own experience. Negativity can be infectious.

DSV offers a supportive and positive work environment with great opportunities for growth and collaboration.
The good thingsWhat I like most about working at DSV is the people — we have a great sense of teamwork, support one another, and collaborate to overcome challenges and reach our goals. Management is open to flexibility and working from home, which creates a healthy work-life balance. The team enjoys having a laugh, making the work environment positive and enjoyable.
The challengesOne of the main challenges I’ve experienced is maintaining a healthy work-life balance during particularly busy periods, such as during integrations or peak project times. These moments often require long hours, tight deadlines, and constant availability, which can lead to burnout and impact overall wellbeing.

    Challenging but rewarding!
The good thingsDSV provide you with the tools and support to be great in this business. Beyond that, if you are someone who thrives on autonomy, accountability and continuous improvement, this is a great place. The people are great. The principle of the business is simple, so there are no hidden agendas. The business constantly changes and with that change comes opportunities.
The challengesWorkload & pressure can be tough at times. Especially financial targets. Frequent integrations bring long hours of work and can be stressful.

Great environment for continuous learning and professional growth
The good things What I really like about my workplace is the fast-paced, dynamic environment. We work with clear goals and deadlines, but there’s also room for continuous learning. Precision and impact – finance often plays a key role in major decisions. I can proudly associate with the worlds largest Freight forwarder. It’s also a nice bonus that DSV has great amenities, it makes a difference in day-to-day comfort and helps create a positive atmosphere.
The challengesOne challenge in my work is that during month-end or year-end closing, the workload can become very intense and the timelines are tight. While it can be stressful, I’ve learned to manage it by staying organized and planning ahead. I’ve also worked with my team to streamline some of our reporting processes, which has helped reduce the pressure. So while it’s a tough part of the job, it’s also an area where I’ve grown a lot.

Exciting, varied work with high performing, driven colleagues
The good thingsThe freight and logistics sector is exciting and constantly changing. There is never a boring day! I’m inspired by the teamwork shown by our warehouse teams, the problem solving skills of our branches, and the customer focus of our commercial team. I’m constantly impressed by the drive and resilience of our managers. We have hard working people who are at the frontline of how things move around the world. I especially enjoy the wonderful, dynamic HR team I’m privileged to be a part of. My work day is very varied, offering strategic HR advice to all levels of the business while driving HR projects which make a difference to our people.
The challengesThere are opportunities to strengthen training for our operators and safety management within the warehouses. The business is working on these areas. I would also like to see paid parental leave to be more competitive as an employer.

Overall, DSV has offered me the right mix of independence, support, and opportunity to thrive. Highly recommended for professionals looking to grow in a dynamic, global environment.
The good thingsI've been with DSV Air & Sea for few years now and my journey has been both rewarding and empowering. What initially drew me to the company was the genuine leadership I encountered during my interview. They made it clear they truly care about their people and that impression has held true throughout my time here. I even turned down other offers because I felt this was the right team to grow with. Working in sales, I appreciate the trust and autonomy I’ve been given. There’s no micromanagement, just a clear focus on delivering results. That supportive environment allowed me to achieve best sales performance. The local team is another standout. They're committed, professional, and go above and beyond to provide an exceptional customer experience while building long-term relationships.
The challengesThe global CRM platform is robust, some features are tailored to other markets and may require additional admin time locally. However being part of a global organization means you often need to align expectations across the clusters.

A supportive culture where collaboration and employee feedback are truly valued!
The good thingsHaving been with the business for over a decade, I can confidently say it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. Throughout the years, I have been very fortunate to have been mentored by many outstanding managers and leaders who have significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth. The workplace environment is genuinely supportive—staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to lend a hand. Another standout feature is the company’s dedication to listening to its employees. Every year, staff are invited to provide feedback on their work experience, and the company takes this input seriously—implementing meaningful improvements that reflect the needs and voices of its workforce.
The challengesLike any fast-paced industry, the work never stops—but that’s what we signed up for. While the company continues to evolve, there’s still room to improve in areas like streamlining processes and advancing system automation. That said, leadership is open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement, which makes it an exciting place to grow your career.

DSV fosters a customer-centric culture while supporting employee growth and career development.
The good thingsI’ve had the privilege of working with DSV for several years, and I can confidently say it’s a company that truly values its employees. A standout example from my own experience was when I needed to relocate from Auckland to Sydney due to a change in my family situation. DSV was incredibly supportive and facilitated my transfer smoothly, allowing me to continue my career without interruption. The management team showed a high level of understanding, compassion, and flexibility throughout the process. They didn’t just see me as an employee, but as a person with real-life needs—and that’s something you don’t find everywhere. DSV’s commitment to its people is one of the many reasons I’m proud to be part of the team. It’s a great place to grow professionally while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The challengesWhile my experience at DSV has been largely positive, there are areas where processes could be more streamlined to enhance efficiency and communication across departments.

The good thingsDSV is a fantastic place to work. The culture is inclusive and there is a real teamwork vibe within our branch in getting the job done. There is a lot of room for career growth with opportunities both locally and overseas. DSV Melbourne has a great social initiative with a range of activities for staff to get involved in.
