Loved the culture just needs more communication
The good thingsif you show your willingness to learn they will use that and allow you to be versatile and help in all different departments.
The challengesThe origination and the layout of where people are placed is a bit unfair. Sometime, the packers need more people but management wont allow.

The most challenging but by far most rewarding opportunity I've had!
The good thingsefm has provided me great opportunities to learn and develop my skills, and challenge me in many ways. Management are always open to ideas too, it's up to everyone to work together to find the right solution. Your voice is definitely heard.
The challengesefm is very fast paced so isn't for everyone. If you're looking for "cruise control" it's not the place for you, but if you're up for learning and a challenge it is highly recommended to work for and partner with.

    Decent company, good intentions.
The good thingsHeaps of opportunities for moving into the role which suits you
The challengesPay seems nice, but long hours and additional hours at less than reward rates are not an incentive to work the additional hours.

The good thingsHaven't come across any
The challengesTemps treated differently to efm staff.. to very approachable and bery stressful place to work. Their version of training is a quick fast explanation of the task then you are expected to know everything.

Handing in my resignation was the best day I had there in the last 2 years.
The good thingsThe few remaining people with company experience.
The challengesA tense environment has been created and there is minimal ongoing support or encouragement to flag concerns. The induction process is very poor and the expectation on work/life balance is unrealistic resulting in overworked employees. There are a lot of good people who work there but are shown a significant lack of respect for their knowledge and experience and this has resulted in a high turnover of staff.

The good thingsAmazing, young and energetic people! You will receive great support and engagement with people from all departments providing knowledge and insight. The opportunity to progress in careers and personal development is there for you.
The challengesThe work will load you up at times, however everyone is willing to give you a hand and work with you to achieve the outcomes needed.

A great sense of team collaboration
The good thingsA leading position in the industry for technology and logistics solutions, allows you to learn and improve your knowledge and skills with like-minded and exceptional team members. The work constantly keeps you on your toes, seeking to provide the best solutions for customers. I really enjoy multiple touch points you have across the departments in the business. It shows how everyone draws their effort together to get the job done.
The challengesEveryday brings a new challenge! That's exciting for anyone who wants to find new ways and adapt solutions to customer issues. It is a fact pace environment by the nature of the industry with pick-up, deliveries and bookings. Your teams supports you and everyone helps each other to make it happen!

Wouldn't recommend, unless desperate for money. High turn over of staff.
The good thingsModern office, get some free fruit and coffee. Company outings and drinks.
The challengesUnrealistic expectations by the management so get ready to work overtime. Overall heavy load of work.

If you want to succeed efm will give you the platform to do so...
The good thingsefm has had a change in CEO over the past year that has really changed the culture of the company. With focus being on staff retention and satisfaction, they are really striving to providing a workplace that gives their team a healthy life balance with job satisfaction. I have been with the company for 4 years and over that time efm has always been very accommodating to my employment needs based on my personal circumstances which is hard to find in a lot of work places. If you work well you are well looked after which should be a given in most work places but often is just taken for granted by employers. I feel efm really looks after their staff that are committed to their job. If you are there purely just because you need a job then I wouldn't recommend them as an employer but if you want to be challenged and given opportunity to grow then it is the ideal place to be.
The challengesThere can be some very strict time-frames that need to be adhered to within the company but this just allows for more job satisfaction in my mind really.

The good thingsGenerally co workers are friendly and easy to get along with .
The challengesFacilities aren't very good for the size of the company, if you aren't with the in group you won't make it very far in the company there is a huge turnover of staff along with large workloads, and little acknowledgment for those not in a management role.

Throughout my career, I have never worked for an organisation that lacks such integrity and morals.
The good thingsA growing industry with the ability to harness the key strengths of staff and use them to strive for business improvement .
The challengesA culture that lacks awareness, disengaged staff that are constantly in disagreement with management, lack of understanding of staff needs and staff satisfaction. The simple equation of keep the staff happy makes happy customers is lacking . Falling short on process is a massive reflection in wasted time with the front facing team that impacts the rest of the business.
