    Miserable, stressful and a burden
The good thingsThe people, the travel and the interaction of being able to create happiness in others
The challengesPoor management and support. Poor wages and unrealistic expectations. Ingrained culture of customer deception to make profit. Broken promises and no career Pathways without massive personal sacrifice. Overbearing responsibility and poor work life balance. Lack of clarity and transparity in regards to work roles.

    Great place to work!
The good thingsFast paced work place! The days go so quickly. The work culture is great and everyone is very willing to give a helping hand and work together to get things done. They promote through out the company I have been here for only 3 months but have seen a number of promotions since my start date which is great.
The challengesFast paced so if your not a hard worker then might not be for you.

    Wouldnt recommond
The good thingsGreat incentives if you can reach them. Best training at the begining i have come across.
The challengesHigh targets that are unachievable. You're only as good as the current month. If you have a bad month you risk losing your job. No chances for improvement. No work/life balance. Long hrs and very low salary.

Great company with many flaws but it’s what you make of each day that determines success.
The good thingsThe focus on continuos growth, great training opportunities in first 12 months. Your efforts determine your results in sales, brightness of future and career development. The role teaches you discipline, stress management and organisation and attention to detail skills. Working with like minded people passionate about travel. Incentives - reflection of hard work
The challengesThe public, this is not as easy as booking online as customers think. We know fare rules inside out, cancellation fees, hotel recommendations and what products suit each different person that walks in the door, we really are experts and our pay nor commission is not equivalent to our skill set or hours we put in. Public perception Hours Pay Management recognition

The good thingsThe benefits, if you're allowed to utilise them, are great.
The challengesManagement is awful, everyones' focus is on alcohol and company fraternisation, and the stress is not worth it.

The good thingsIf you have a large family and friend base, this is a good job for you, You'll get great perks.
The challengesIf you are a person who doesn't do well with marking people up, and hearing stories and connecting with your clients will effect the way you intereact with them, this isn't the job for you. You need to be able separate the relationships and the needs for the business.

Should not have been so difficult
The good thingsImmediate team and team leader all incredible, amazing products and customers, great training program & opportunity to move up or across to different areas in the industry.
The challengesLeadership is either a big hit or a BIG miss. I personally found it difficult to manage the expectations set in my shop and also keep a healthy personal life. It is, at the end of the day, a sales role and that comes with stress.

Good way to get into the industry but very little recognition and zero work/life balance
The good thingsSome small travel benefits and access to incentives.
The challengesManagement control everything. If your not there best friend, they will keep rewards from you. Very hard to have work/life balance as they expect you to work 9-10hrs a day ( minimum) plus attend lots of outside work events

Customer focused, target driven with lots of challenges but can be rewarding
The good thingsGreat people; work hard/play hard attitude; every day's different
The challengesSales role where your salary is supplemented by your commission so despite how hard you feel you're working, if you aren't converting your booking, you aren't hitting targets and getting what paid for it.

The good thingsIt's a great place to get a step in the door into the travel industry, as they do provide training and are very proactive in the first year with their consultants.
The challengesThe targets, there was such a repetitive emphasis on this
