    I love my Flinders family! Best place I've ever worked. Can't recommend highly enough.
    The good thingsAmazing team, supervisors are really supportive and knowledgeable. I think you can tell that there is genuine care for staff in the company, from the top management down to the workers - and its nice to feel that. Friday BBQ's are the best!!
    The challengesWorking in a cold environment, but this is part of the job and the industry.

    An awesome company and definitely worth working for
    The good thingsGreat, positive culture, amazing quality meat (and good discounts on it for staff). Lots of energy, some really hard workers and high performers. I really enjoy working at Flinders, it's been one of the best work environments of anywhere I've ever worked at
    The challengesGrowing company = sometimes there is process gaps, workflows that could be improved, and reporting lines that might be clearer. Sometimes this can mean high performers get a little frustrated. But in a way, thats good because they clearly care about the business and their teams.

    Great Company Bad Management
    The good thingsCurrent employees from the transport and logistics area are great to work with, production area such as the butchers and the Warehouse operations aswell, very friendly and always working together as a team. Great discounts when it comes to products and good quality of meat. Being provided with up to date vans of transportation to deliver which is a big bonus.
    The challengesManagement needs a massive improvement.. especially the higher up management mostly the General Manager.. he needs to stop trying to do all the jobs at once and let his other staff managers and members do their role. It's a shame because I did enjoyed working there and I would of given it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the poor management of the company. Whenever there was a constructive feedback passed on to him he never acknowledged it, just ignoring it while constantly focusing on other things that were not important. Alot of promises made but none were being kept.

    Good people, though you have Zero job security.
    The good thingsDrivers are great, they really do help each other, Good solid guys that have each others back. Really good people to work with.
    The challengesThe Emphasis on taking your time and providing good customer service, well that takes time, and they do not want you taking time. You are a cost to them. Have a mistake put on you, then make a mistake and you are pulled into the office and spoken to like a child. They have a lot of potemtial though the appraoch of trying to save money by pushing leaving times, behaving a actually being tyrants, well it is costing them more than they know.

    Honestly just a great place to work.
    The good thingsGreat people from top down. Strong drive team happy to help each other out when needed. Staff discounts on the best meat you can buy in Australia.

    Life changing.
    The good thingsFlinders + Co is very positive work environment, with excellent staff that work together. There is a clear goal for where the business is tracking and what everyone is trying to achieve and how everyone has an impact on achieving this.
    The challengesThe business is growing considerably and as such is going through some growing pains, in needing to automate systems and put more in depth procedures in place as the business grows in complexity.
