An exciting product, designed by a company focused on money rather than customers.
The good thingsGreat product, people are knowledgeable and friendly
The challengesLow pay and no career progression translates to lack of motivation amoungst employees, meaning you end up doing other peoples work to get things done. Company is focussed on cutting costs, usually at the expense of the customer, instead of looking internally at their overly expensive bureaucratic processes.

Would never return to the company PD department in AU
The good thingsEnjoyed working with some talented people, learnt some new skills, how to react to road blocks and provide solutions. Ford is a great brand Id think working in the US office would differ to working in the Ford AU culture
The challengesNot being able to have help at stressful times being used to do senior engineers paperwork which led to my work load overloaded, certain people were above the company statement

It paid the bills at my holiday house....
The good thingsFlexible work hours as long as the over subscribed work is completed. Opportunity to travel for work.
The challengesEngineering micro-management, treatment of older engineers and contractors defies diversity programs. Engineering under resourcing at the working level but over resourcing at the integration level. Long work hours, especially when travelling. Terribly inefficient ergonomic furniture.

Ford is a family , a pride and an emotion to live. Worth working for a lifetime. Love ford.!
The good thingsFord is a fantastic place to work with. Ford provides absolute freedom to explore opportunities although it’s depended on region where you work at.
The challengesProcesses are the na in drawback. It takes eins of time to complete a task when really needed and get stuck. Again, it depends on the manager you work with and the region comes into play.

Good place to work with many people, travel and be proud of good value for money products developed.
The good thingsOpp to get in w/o extensive experience as is developed on the job. Job safety as permanent is high. Opp to change jobs within organisation. Divers team, proud of products.
The challengesHigh bureaucracy. Lower and middle management have limited knowledge, delegate everything w/o actively managing influx. Departments have problems working together. Finance's voice too strong in decision making.
