Great for people who want to make a foundation in claims but who also don't mind waiting for a chance to move up the corporate ladder. The good thingsThe flexibility to work from home almost every day, and attend the office once a fortnight. Depending on the team, sometimes it can be quite an easy role, with little overloading.
The challengesLack of any guarantee in career progression. You might be stuck in a lower role for a year or more before any recognition or chance to move up even to the next role above yours. Lack of movemement in teams where there is no turnover, people are static and stay in the same position for a long time not allowing those below to have a chance to progress. Micromanaging is the elephant in the room and sometimes it feels like you are being constantly monitored or watched, without any clear understanding as to why - you have to sometimes make a lot of assumptions as to why colleagues are behaving in a certain way towards you as well as management.
