    Do not work in payroll.
    The good thingsSome genuinely lovely staff. Learnt a lot.
    The challengesToxic HR manager. Very unsupportive. Nice initially then true colors exposed. Very high turnover in this role . 4 people in 12 months. I have never worked with someone so rude and dismissive. No accountability for their behaviour. No what you would expect from a senior manager .

    I was left with the perception that no one knows what I do, in turn there was no acknowledgement for achievements either in progression, or financially.
    The good thingsMaking improvements to my role to propel the team. Procurement exposes me to many personalities and opportunities.
