    Terrible experience!
The good thingsOffice and friendly staff to work with.
The challengesTerrible, just terrible. I wish I had read the reviews before applying for this role. Just read the other reviews. The salary is way too low, and there is no career progression. The role is solely focused on collecting money.

Sales, Sales, Sales ... and nothing else.
The good thingsThe colleagues are great, good location and good office.
The challenges- Mainly focuses on selling and puts a lot of pressure on staff to collect money as fast as possible, without giving much attention to customer service. - Lacks proper customer service training, but consistently provides training/checking by higher management for sales purposes. - No room for progress, extremely poor pay.

They do not care about their staff
The good thingsGood people to work with
The challenges- Poor upper management, - Low pay, - Horrible company ethics, - Always about money but will trick you into thinking that it’s for the customer, - Training didn't prepare anyone for the job, - Customers post COVID are often rude and you get yelled at a lot, - Sitting down all day

A great team environment in a progressive company with plenty of opportunities to learn!
The good thingsThe team environment was amazing at Global! Consistent support from the Team Leader and Management made staff feel confident and valued. There were plenty of great training sessions to build and grow new skills. Constructive feedback that was always a two way street as they are consistently looking to improve processes and are open to new ideas. A well organised, fun and rewarding environment to be in. A great company to work for that’s doing amazing things in the travel industry. The 360 degree office views and snacks are just a bonus!
The challengesNot having the flexibility to work remotely on a consistent basis and temporary staff shortages- both things that will likely change in the near future I’m sure!

Very dynamic, fun and rewarding and company to be a part of.
The good thingsIncredible offices worldwide, amazing team culture, lots of progression opportunities, perks and rewards for those willing to put in the effort and commitment.
The challengesThere have been some obvious challenges in the travel industry recently, but the entire team’s true grit prevailed, along with some major progress and developments with the company’s tech and E-Commerce, that allowed us to come out not just surviving, but thriving!

An amazing 7 years and it's only getting better.
The good thingsA great company to work for. You work hard and the company rewards you for it, great progression opportunities and amazing perks each year to travel to the destinations we send our travellers to.
The challengesWith any role you face challenges, I guess Covid and the new changes to business required us to adapt and make a few hard decisions along the way.

The place to be on the GC!
The good thingsI originally worked for Global for nearly 4 years, loved my time here but went looking for another challenge. I then spent the next 18 months working in Sales (BDM & Recruitment) for 2 separate companies during that time - now I've been back at Global for just over 2 and a half years and I can safely say that the grass is not greener on the other side and that the culture/environment created by Global on a daily basis is outstanding compared to other companies I've worked for. There's also incredible perks if you're wanting to travel, excellent commission structures and most importantly, you genuinely enjoy getting up and going to work each morning!
The challengesCouldn't say a bad word about the place!

    A positive forward thinking company
The good thingsThe working environment and in particular the team is exceptional. Always great vibes in the office with everyone helping out each other for the benefit of the company.
The challengesBeing a Global brand there are always things to take into consideration that you wouldn't normally think of, but there are great practices and protocols in place to help you out.

The challengesThe company is very solution-based so any challenges that arise are quickly solved.

From initial hire to now I have found my experience working for Global rewarding.
The good thingsI was welcomed into a great team and hit the ground running. I have felt well supported in my role. I am able to interact with the management team and feel that the lines of communication are always open with the ability to express ideas and suggestions. I have many years experience in the travel industry and have worked for large corporations over the years and feel that the Global values and the way they approach business are unique. The ability for advancement is comparable to any. Great office environment. Working for Global has allowed me a great work/life balance.
The challengesSystems that are constantly being developed. Imperative but frustrating at times

Best sales job I've ever had. Fairly easy, fun and huge earning potential if you put the work in.
The good thingsAmazing office and environment. Tons of training. Work with lots of great people.
The challengesCan take a few weeks to get the hang of things. Dealing with younger customers a lot of them can be flaky and unreliable.

Good for fun, not for advancement
The good thingsYou meet a lot of fun and like-minded people, and it's fun to talk about travel all day.
The challengesIt's a good and fun temporary job, but the pay is extremely low for long hours, and a lot of expectations placed with very little return. Management also has a tendency to 'forget' about incentives and rewards.

The good thingsGreat place to work with the best view in the city. Perks such as social events, end of month DJ & drinks. Great company culture, supportive management team. On going training and support and great career opportunities.
The challengesCan't think of any cons.

I've been enjoying going to work, especially since it's selling travel.
The good thingsGreat atmosphere with good people, constructive feedback to help me improve at my job, travel opportunities and staff specials, good events and parties held.
The challengesBased on the Gold Coast so it's not very corporate but more corporate than other GC businesses.

The good thingsOpportunity to grow/move up within the company, great support from upper management, great benefits & incentives, office location, other staff members, social events, end of month DJ & drinks, ongoing training and being a part of the team who help turn people's dreams into reality!
The challengesParking, public transport would be the easiest way to get to and from work.

Steady role but no opportunities for growth/training or progression.
The good thingsTravel discounts, good location
The challengesYoung team, no HR team, camera's watching all rooms, check in and out times are monitored to the minute, no career progression, no parking, lack of trust, no flexibility

Probably the best place on the GC to get a job
The good thingsGreat vibe, cool office, fun team mates all of similar age and mindset. Great concept and product, beats talking about solar, insurance or any other product! - who doesn't like talking about travel all day?
The challengesSales is a mindset game, and you need to understand it's like a rollercoaster, one week you're really up the other week you could be down. All in all, I've never worked at a more professional or larger company before, and thoroughly enjoy it.

Great experience in sales, apart from the lies.
The good thingsUpbeat fun team. If you want to learn about sales, this is the place to go.
The challengesTrainings all focused on high pressure sales and not the product. I found the scripts deceptive and no real value in the product.

Don't regret a thing, fantastic environment and support available. Just depends if you enjoy the pressure of a sales role
The good thingsEnvironment, social aspect, genuinely fantastic product, training, office facilities, help easy to obtain. If sales and travel is your forte then a lot of money can be made here.
The challengesA lot of hours are put in and not always reaping the benefits financially. Being a contractor is a bit of a loophole and enables you to be paid little in relation to the effort and time put in.
