Avoid this company at all costs. Its not worth the stress.
The good thingsThere isn't a sigle good thing about working for this company other than the day you resign.
The challengesThe company is a nightmare to work for. Constant micromanagement down to the minute, time estimations on jobs completely disregarded and cut to 20% of the original recommendation, company manager has no idea about marketing but acts like an expert, staff constantly leaving so nothing gets achieved but then then blame goes to staff who are still employed (staff get hired and quit within days), gaslightling from the manager who says one thing the day before and then gets upset because thats apparently not what they said, belittling staff in front of others in meetings, and constantly asking you to work for free because you couldnt meet the impossible time allocations. You have to be careful what you say to other longer term staff members because it will get back to management. No matter how hard you try or be proactive, it is never good enough. You get in trouble for being proactive because its not approved by management. By far the MOST toxic workplace I have ever been involved with.

Worst experience, would not recommend it to anyone.
The good things100% remote work from home
The challengesI worked for GGSA as a contractor for a few months and it is the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced. Gas lighting, micro-management, unnecessary and over complicated processes that get in the way of doing work, colleagues that are nice at face value but throw you under the bus, no idea how to run projects. Trust all the reviews, except the 5-star ones, which seem to have been written by management...

The experience felt unprofessional, with poor communication.
The good thingsPositive aspects include the opportunity to work fully remotely, as discussed initially.
The challengesFollowing the interview, there was no further communication. Emails and messages requesting feedback went unanswered.

Horrible Company. Stay Away! Icompetent management

Worst company I have ever worked for. Stay Away! Totally incompetent and toxic environment.
The good things100% work from home. Paid overtime.
The challengesManagement are totally incompetent. No idea about running a company. Exceptionally bad communication skills. No idea how IT software projects work. They sack people every week. Constant turnover of PMs, BAs, Testers and developers, as well as other staff. Get the cheapest workers they can from India and Indonesia and pay rubbish. Highly stressful. Extremely toxic environment.

The good things“Participating in the Good to Great Schools Australia program, our team’s practice has become more concise – it has tightened things up a bit more, from what I’ve seen and heard from staff.”
The challengesThere are nothing like challenges while working at GGSA . Their working ethics are top notch!

Appears to be an unprofessional / poorly run start up / that aren’t too sure how to run a business with psychology focus Advertise for a job / offers it to candidates - then very poor communication Appearing to retract offer - Several emails back and forth negotiating terms of employment - clearly offering the role - asking can you start straight away Then “ we will get back to you “ When candidate is trying to organise start date
The good thingsCan’t see any benefits to this
The challenges-no direct phone number - recruitment team would only email ( despite asking for them to connect via phone ) - numerous emails asking me to work for them - trying to negotiate I start immediately - recruitment / hr - seemed to repeatedly not comprehend scope of role - no position description for advertised role They offer you a role Then when you ask for paperwork confirming anything - they retract offer

    Awesome Work Experience
The good thingsThe best part of this school is that the CEO is cooperative. She always helps their staff when they need it. The CEO frequently hosts meetings with the staff to ensure everyone is on the same page. She takes the time to listen to their concerns and suggests solutions that can be implemented to improve the school. She is also willing to help her staff when they need additional resources or assistance.
The challengesSometimes there is a need to work longer hours so students will not suffer.

Overall, Good to Great Schools Australia offers valuable expertise and support for school improvement, with a focus on personalized approaches and leadership development. However, addressing resource constraints, extending their reach to underserved areas, and emphasizing sustainability will be important for maximizing their impact in the Australian education landscape.
The good things-- Expertise in School Improvement -- Tailored Approach -- Emphasis on Leadership -- Collaboration and Networking with staff
The challenges-- Limited Reach: As the are focus a complete education to students, so they reach a small number of students. -- Sometimes Work can be Challenging: As, GGSA focus on complete education, so sometime the work can be challenging.

Amazing work culture and the best Place to Start Your Career.
The good thingsIt is possible for me to contribute to the really groundbreaking innovations that are happening. The fact that actual schools are implementing it successfully is fantastic. It was inspirational after all the years I spent in school. It is a great place to work and learn new skills.
The challengesSometime work pressure is high, so no time to spend with colleagues.

    Abysmal, tense atmosphere
The good thingsTalented, committed employees working hard towards a great outcome, against the odds.
The challengesConstantly chasing one's tail and rarely taking a task to completion due to CEO seemingly holding up every point of progression. Regular ranting and conflicting emails in one's inbox prevents any kind of completion or job satisfaction.

    A great start!
The good thingsGreat induction process. Organised and relevant. In terms of curriculum, the process of introduction was very helpful and relevant to the role. Very friendly, helpful and competent management. Excellent HR, production manager and other managers involved in the induction and general work process. Very impressive!
The challengesStarting a new job, especially training in another state can be quite overwhelming but thankfully the entire process was a great learning experience.

Hard Working Team, Achieving Great Results!
The good thingsHard working team with nothing but the greatest intentions in their endeavours. This organisation has a very clear focus on the highly positive outcomes they are working towards. This is a great opportunity to work within a project driven environment which will only develop and hone your skills in regards to the progression of work, stakeholder management and developing the highest standard/ quality product. This is an organisation who “walk the walk” not just “talk the talk”. Great opportunity for professional development if you are willing to throw yourself into the role. The people are fantastic! Highly supportive team environment that celebrate the wins together, and work together to face challenges head on.
The challengesWorking towards driving change within the political space. There will always be critics and opposing opinions of change, and working in this space requires the resiliance to see past the criticism and focus on the achievements and positive impact that is made to so many schools around Australia. You will be challenged to think differently, work collaborative and be very agile and flexible in the way that you work.
