Traumatising, will not recommend unless you don't mind sucking up and being a puppet. The good thingsPay is good. Trauma bonded with many colleagues who resigned.
The challengesWhile the service presents a positive image externally, my experience behind the scenes was very different.
Management appeared highly political, with clear favouritism shown toward certain staff members who had personal friendships or external connections. Gossip and exclusion were common, and staff who were not favoured were treated poorly, pressured, or made to feel unwelcome.
The environment felt manipulative rather than supportive, and authenticity was lacking. Several staff members I encountered had left or were in the process of leaving, many describing their experiences as emotionally harmful.
There also appeared to be a strong focus on maintaining appearances, including selectively encouraging positive reviews, which made the public image feel misaligned with the internal culture.
Overall, this was not a safe or healthy learning environment, and I would urge others to look beyond surface-level impressions when considering this workplace.
