company doesn’t give a rats about admin staff and pay you less than a uni student in a call centre. Equivalent jobs in Govt sector earn nearly double. Don’t recommend at all.
The good thingsDeveloping friendships with colleagues and some clients.
The challengesA horrid app program that just doesn’t work, and was tens of millions over budget. One minute it mostly works, then they release an “update” to fix something & which “breaks” something else it’s horrific! 2 years later they’re still “fixing” the bugs. It gives me the worst anxiety and my confidence in my ability to do my role has taken a beating (told the Managing Director on one of his “visits” & told me “I can’t help you with that”) New EBA is garbage, admin workers were sold a dud. Promised the ability to neg individual pay rises and yet I don’t know of a single person in my role to get one as head office set the bar way too high. Pay is woefully inadequate for the amount of processes you’re required to know, constantly expected to do more for no extra pay, in fact they pay newbies with no experience more than the experienced staff. Bonuses are impossible as that horrid program collates the data that management admit is not accurate but use it to escape paying lousy bonuses. RUN!

    Terrible
The good thingsMost of the staff are decated, caring and supportive. They only want the best for their clients.
The challengesManagement. The entire executive team is terrible. While staff on the front line are struggling to manage a completely broken system and dealing with constant complaints, terrible working conditions and staff cuts; the senior managements are filming themselves, mid week, drinking and having rap battles… then posting said videos on the internal hub to “lift spirits”. The front like is short staffed, over worked and underpaid. Instead of hiring managers with experience in healthcare they are recruiting people from the finance industry to help dig them out of the monumental hole they dug for themselves when they launched a computer system that doesn’t work.

Avoid at all costs. Worst computer program ever. Psychologically unsafe workplace.
The good thingsThe people you work with. Kind, caring and supportive and wanting to help clients.
The challengesThe computer system does not work. Buttons that disappear. So many work arounds and fixes and then they roll out another update that breaks it some more. The system makes it a psychologically unsafe workplace and makes you feel as though you are going crazy. No progression opportunities. Not worth the stress. Huge workload and knowledge required for the amount of pay.
