The challengesThe workplace had ongoing management challenges and was often short‑staffed, which made it difficult to meet expectations. Many systems, including POS and other software, were outdated and added unnecessary pressure on the team.
In addition, some managers tended to focus more on pleasing upper management rather than resolving issues or supporting their staff. This often left team members feeling unsupported, and accountability was not handled fairly.
Unfortunately, this led to high turnover, especially in F&B management roles, where many people struggled to stay longer than six months. Overall, it was not a constructive environment to work in, and the experience was far more stressful than positive.
