    Not a good first job in retail industry. Would stay away where possible.
    The good thingsOnly good thing is the 35% discount and the team (all pretty young, great to work with, good after-work culture).
    The challengesYou do not receive proper training, unrealistic expectations on what you should achieve in a day when working alone, company is SUPER stock focused, can not hold onto managers, store manager was extremely unprofessional (would talk bad about employees to other employees), toxic workplace environment

    Fast paced and fun environment!
    The good thingsThe people! The store teams and the office supports are what make the job. Sure, the product is great, and business is fun to be a part of. So overall I love the job and all aspects of my role. But for me the best part is honestly the people.
    The challengesThe business is far more fast paced than I have previous experienced, but that's half the fun!

    The good thingsI’ve really enjoyed working at Industrie Clothing. The team is supportive, the work is interesting, and there’s a great balance between getting things done and having a good time. It’s a place where you can grow, learn, and actually feel valued.

    I've been really lucky in my role at Industrie to be supported by great leaders, given autonomy to try new things, work with fun & like-minded individuals, as well as be exposed to what work for a retail brand can be all about!
    The good things- Super supportive, fun and engaging team & leaders - beautiful working environment - good salary package & discounts
    The challenges- nothing of note, in my experience!

    Unprofessional, Staff in head office and downwards were unprofessional. Managers would bring their personal life problems and take it out on you. Specific Manager cant name who had favourites and would treat them better. Very unprofessional and high school like environment. Only good thing was the casual staff members that brought good energy

    Really loved my time working at Industrie I was in retail role and finished up in 2023. I had personal things happen in my life that i could no longer fulfill the role. Company was really professional at national level and understanding of my situation. Loved my time working with Industrie great culture and product

    A lot of red flags.
    The good thingsStore teams! Product really good and great quality, customers awesome too.
    The challengesManagement at the national level, honestly really concerning, really bad people skills, not much compassion or care for anyone in any role would be the biggest concern here. They could do great things if this wasn’t a problem.

    The good thingsThe casuals I worked with were genuinely lovely people, and it was always busy therefore the days went quickly.
    The challengesUpper management difficult to work with, not understanding and never enough coverage to take leave (even your time in lieu).

    It’s ok to get your foot in retail, but I wouldn’t recommend working here to my worst enemy.

    The challengesUpper management. A regional in particular was extremely difficult and unprofessional to deal with to the point I had to have HR involved. That is the main reason that I left the company. Other than that it was fine for the most part.

    Loved it, progressed quickly and felt like the management really believed in me and pushed me to do my best.
    The good thingsRegularly felt like my hard work was appreciated and management are very involved with each employee. Liked the whole environment working there and felt connected to many members of company even when working alone. Would definitely recommend this company I really enjoyed my time there.
    The challengesSometimes felt a lot of pressure to sell and keep store perfect when working alone, a lot of work for one individual.

    Met a lot of good people there, but was one of the worst jobs I have ever had. Never get incentives, never appreciated, and never ever had a “thank you” from managers for any work I’ve done for the company.
