Don't work here if you are a creative thinker. You will be disappointed and made to feel excluded.
The good thingsMaking a difference in people's lives.
The challengesPoor support from people team. Vested interest in protecting those in power rather than doing the right thing to support staff. Felt isolated and bulIied

    Fantastic Company to work for.
The good thingsWorking at Integrated Living has been a rewarding and meaningful experience. As a support worker, I’ve felt valued, respected, and well-supported in my role. The organisation places a strong focus on person-centred care, which aligns closely with my own values and makes the work feel purposeful every day. The training and onboarding process was thorough, and ongoing professional development is encouraged. Team leaders and coordinators are approachable and responsive, which creates a supportive and collaborative environment. There’s a genuine emphasis on work-life balance, safety, and employee well-being. What stands out most is the impact we make in people’s lives—Integrated Living gives you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while making a real difference in the community. I’m proud to have been part of such a dedicated team.
The challengesNothing at all. Great company to work for.

Love working for this organisation. CEO is client focussed and this trickles down right to Support Worker level. Support Workers are the bomb and are the back bone, amazing individuals
The good thingsWork from home, easy access to support and guidance when in need, policy development over the last 12 months has helped improve processes.
The challengesWork from home can be isolating however the connection with colleagues is good through use of technology

Can be challenging but so rewarding, being able to contribute positively to the quality of life of our clients makes me excited for every day.
The good thingsThe company has been on quite a transformation journey over the past several years. It's been amazing to see the company and people grow with endless opportunities being at our finger tips. I feel valued and truly get the sense that we get out what we put in, the job flexibility and people-first approach mean's the world to me.
The challengesWorkload, due to the many changes in Aged Care, and the challenges that have been imposed on the industry. I feel this pain as we adapt to the ever-changing climate and try to keep ahead of the industry.

The challengesManagement are contrary, never know what to do, criteria and policy keep changing, lack of understanding between management that caused confusion for workers,

Great place to work, the Wellness team are the best!
The good thingsThere are always opportunities to advance whether it's your career or knowledge/education. There are leadership programs, financial workshops and much more, salary packaging, great team environment and I've received nice appreciation letters with gifts and gift card attached from management as a thank you for supporting clients throughout the pandemic. Always feel appreciated!

Worst employment experience in my 35 year career.
The good thingsCan’t think of any beyond my direct work colleagues, who were a great group of people.
The challengesNo direction, management aren’t aligned and are all out for their own priorities. There is no shared direction and back house deals undermine team decisions. Performance management is appalling and if you try to stand up against bad behaviour you will be penalised. .

With the right scheduler work would be ok. Wagers way to low. Communication with management can be very hit and miss. No support for over worked workers.
The good thingsThe clients are the most rewarding
The challengesScheduling no idea on mixing up duties clean, PC, social support. Scheduler will happily give 12hour shift of cleaning. No idea of repetitive stains.
