Steer clear of this place- nobody cares about you here and you are expendable to them.
The good thingsVery nice office space even though it is not JLL's.
The challengesHorrible company to work for. I was signed on for 1.5 weeks as sick cover. Then I was told by JLL they thought I was there for a month. My contract showed 1.5 weeks and that is all I signed. The boss said they would get in touch with the agency to correct my end date on the contract. That was at 1 P.M. By 6 P.M. I was getting a call from my agency saying I had been fired because they wanted someone more long term. It is completely confusing. They also said I lacked initiative. How could I when the person training me didn't even know I was coming until I showed up and she only worked there for a month and didn't know how to train me? Further, I did not have security access to most of the rooms and did not have a computer so I could not accomplish any tasks if I was even given any (which I wasn't). There are literally six people that need to be contacted to get anything done at this company. The most disorganised and convoluted place I have ever been in.

Convoluted structure, poor systems, plus focus on making money over delivery for the client.
The good thingsMany good people, nice office in Melbourne CBD, opportunities for movement due to size of the organisation.
The challengesPoor program objectives, though the client was more to blame for this. Antiquated IT systems, limited managerial support, overly complicated and dysfunctional divisional hierarchy, plus a focus on making money over delivery for the client.

A polished exterior hides a toxic culture driven by cliques and control rather than merit.
The good thingsThe office space is lovely, as are the views.
The challengesThe shared services space has a culture that is very clique-driven at the top, where advancement depends less on merit and more on who you know and the connections you hold. Promotions and opportunities rarely reflect performance. Leadership style is controlling and passive-aggressive, though this behaviour often stays hidden unless you’re in the immediate team. Leaders deliberately hire beneath them to maintain control and keep dissent in check

Don't seem to care about the workers - all about the money. Being told that I was going to be micromanaged was enough for me to leave.
The good thingsThe people that I worked with everyday were great
The challengesEverytime I went for a different position the pay was the same as what I was currently earning. If I wanted to get a pay rise I had to put it in writing. I was basically on a junior wage the whole time I worked there.

Potential to be a great workplace, if you find the right team and leaders.
The good thingsGreat office, workplace events and overall culture (when you zoom out).
The challengesReactive team culture - 'doing' mindset prevails. Raised internal and external issues to no avail. Expected to simply follow instructions like a junior at times, then expected to solve big problems on own at other times. Low frequency of feedback, even when asking after it. Not a coaching culture.

Terrible company JLL that doesn't care about their staff.
The good thingsNothing about it. It could have been good but they didn't listen to my needs or job requirements due to medical issues.
The challengesThey said my role was at a different location, doing a different job but put me in a role that was totally unsuitable for me on personal and medical reasons in a completely unsuitable location and company.

My experience was very poor that i had no choice but to resign after 10 weeks
The good thingsi dont have much to say that is positive
The challengesnot a company that stands by their contractual obligations - upper management untrustworthy. Leadership not supportive. Signed a contract which company did not adhere to. After many discussions refused to adhere to contract terms and conditions.

Honestly been here for 6 months and I think it is laughable to be considered a good company to work for. Ive had alot of key experience with other companies and this field of JLL called work dynamics is shocking.
The good thingsHonestly the clients are quite nice to deal with. Thats all.
The challengesJLL processes, Virtually no real training, upper management not helpful or care for others...

You are on your own with management not listening.
The good thingsNothing. There is no good that can come from working here. It shows by the amount of staff turnover.
The challengesManagment are so self-centered they pay no attention to staff. When something goes wrong, they are the first to cover their backs and blame the staff who tried to point out the issue. Training courses have nothing to do with your role. They advertise for roles at a lower grade than the role requires, so they can pay you less. Such a self-centered company it's unbelievable.

Overloaded with work and close to breaking point. Family life is falling apart as im working even on weekends.
The good thingsAllows working complete remotely. Good career exposure to varied base of clients.
The challengesWorking long hours and have to constantly correct mistakes of external contractors. Im working close to 80 hours a week, spilling over to weekends for creating financial reports. Cannot have a normal family life working for a company like this.

The training that is provided by HR is not related to your job, poor management skills and lack of communication.

When I started the role I had no prior experience with reception at this level, but over time with the training and on boarding provided I quickly learnt my way. The amount of support I received from my manager, supervisor, and work colleagues was amazing, I feel as though my questions are always answered and welcome. Over all - I would highly recommend this company to any of my family or friends.
The good things- A surplus of training is provided within the company (this is with any role). - All jobs are advertised to people within the company at all times. - The company's dynamic is phenomenal.
The challenges- Sometimes, there is too much training, however, I understand the need for this much training and on boarding tasks.

Big Mistake. Wasted more than 2 years in a thankless role and company.
The good thingsNothing. I could not think of anything.
The challengesAll team members from management giving their work to me. Makes it over occupied for me and my job rating is given as per my work duties. Eventually, you end up doing 3-4 jobs and get paid salary lower than market average for my role. JLL HR never contact you to find out if team member is facing any difficulties. Expect me to available 24/7 when i am not assigned FMOD role.
