J&J gave us the back bone with great people to work with and iconic brands, and now as we become Kenvue, it is a very exciting space to work in right now as we shape this New, modern Organization.
The good thingsWorking with such iconic and relatable brands like Listerine & Neutrogena, really makes the job quite easy to be passionate about. The scale of the business creates great scope to move internationally. This is something I have had the pleasure of being able to do in my career, and something that is well supported in the organisation. There have been so many benefits in the move, both professionally and personally. Seeing the organization go from J&J to Kenvue has also been something that has been exciting to be a part of. Now becoming a stand along company and feeling as an employee our say matters in shaping the direction of Kenvue.
The challengesWe are in the midst of a lot of change. Almost every process and way of working has been scrutinized and changed in quite a short period of time. However I can see that this is all for the better and in the not too distant future I can see how these changes will benefit the organisation.

Kenvue is a great place to work and grow your professional career, with fantastic support networks, excellent people and an exciting vision for the future
The good thingsAll companies say that they put their people first, but in many cases don't 'walk the talk'. Right from applying for the role through to working here for the past 3 months, Kenvue truly puts its people first. They were available to answer any questions I had through the hiring process, and even provided some great coaching through the interview stage. As an employee they have made me feel valued and given me the support to thrive in the new environment, whilst being fully supportive of a great work-life balance.
The challengesIt is a big business, with a great amount of iconic brands which is exciting but can be overwhelming to start and wrap your head around. As with any business there is also lots of process involved so it takes time to work it all out.

Its the best company I have worked for!
The good thingsPeople and Company culture is nothing like I have seen in my previous roles. Its a healthy work environment for sure where you can be autonomous & leading projects and at the same time get support when you feel you are stuck. People trust you with your capabilities and there is no micro managing. 2 months in to the role and we have already worked on our short, medium and long term development plans which makes me comfortable & assured about my professional career while at Kenvue. The company has also briefed me future career options and pathways to get there, thus, helping me to be in the driver seat of my career. Besides, the company is making a significant difference to the community via its products. Kenvue is certainly an organization who cares for its community and therefore, working here satisfies one of my personal aspirations of contributing to the society. And as an icing on the cake, the company has great perks/incentives which makes it even better place to work for.
The challengesIts a steep learning curve as there are many brands, and the team is big. Everyday there is something new to learn.

Great company culture and incredible brands - they really do care fiercely!
The good thingsWhen I asked what the company culture at Kenvue was like in the interview process, the response was weird, but in a good way. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help, and that's what makes working here so unique. And after a few months in role, I can definitely attest to that. I also came into the business during a time of change too, and it's really evident that you have so much opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of our brands in a new and exciting way. Plus, getting to work on brands that are also having an impact on everyday care is the cherry on top.
The challengesThe processes and policies are robust and provide a really strong framework, however they can sometimes hinder our ability to be on the pulse. With the transition to Kenvue, it's exciting to see where we can improve in this area to ensure we're keeping pace.

I've found the right company for present + future me :)
The good thingsThe people are excellent - I could see that immediately and throughout the recruitment process, and now having been in the business for 4 months I am really happy to see that this is consistent across the business. They truly do put people first, there is great structure around career development, some great perks, and the staff live and breathe the flexibility around work. I've also been impressed at the level of communication and action with the launch of Kenvue (separating from J&J) on the values of the company. I have never felt so connected to the purpose of a company so quickly, and I have had multiple experiences with mergers and takeovers at previous employment. There are such fantastic legacy brands to work on, and it's nice to have a staff shop to explore and get familiar with our brands!
The challengesAs with any global company, there are a lot of processes to get across. It is a double edged sword - the processes around career development, ways of working, etc. are great, but sometimes it can feel that process gets in the way of progress. I am eager to see how this improves as we settle into new Kenvue ways.

Kenvue will be the employer who supports your ambitions!
The good thingsKenvue is unique. in a GOOD way. Being that its a newly formed entity there is so many opportunities to truly impact the future direction However it has a strong past having been a division of J&J and many of the wonderful cultural strengths remain. The leadership team is filled with genuine, high performing, future focused, supportive individuals. A an organization they are keen to support people and teams to be their best and challenge the status quo.
The challengesProcess and Policy can be a challenge. As a large scale international business with a lot of global support functions it can be difficult navigating the whos who which can challenge timelines.
