Lack of clear expectations, support, and communication made the role difficult to succeed in.
The good thingsThe organisation has a strong industry presence and offers exposure to high-volume recruitment. The role provided an opportunity to gain experience across multiple recruitment activities and insight into large-scale operations.
The challengesA lack of structured onboarding and clear expectations made it difficult to effectively perform in the role. Communication and support were inconsistent, and performance concerns were not clearly communicated or addressed throughout employment.

Really enjoyed my time here- great people and improvement focused
The good thingsMany people, including myself, provided with exciting development opportunities. Improvement focused, the business was great at identifying opportunities for change and doing something about it.
The challengesThere were parts of the business that may not all have had positive experiences, but as a whole, the business tried to make positive changes and couldn’t always do things instantly.

A rewarding and meaningful workplace that’s evolving quickly—offering great potential for those who are proactive and adaptable.
The good thingsKeolis Downer in Adelaide offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are genuinely embedded into the culture. There’s a strong sense of purpose supporting essential public transport services, and employees are given the opportunity to make a real impact. The leadership team is approachable, and cross-functional collaboration is encouraged. There are also great opportunities to grow your career if you proactively engage
The challengesAs the business continues to grow and evolve, some internal processes and systems are still catching up, which can create occasional inefficiencies. Communication across departments is improving, but there’s still work to do in creating more alignment and clarity. That said, the leadership team is increasingly open to feedback, and there’s genuine momentum behind continuous improvement efforts.

Apply now if you're ready to sell your soul, report back to management and perpared to chase plenty of carrots 🥕
The good thingsSome great workmates, union support, free travel, penalty rates, Trams are an iconic part of Melbourne.
The challengesTheir core values are simply words that look nice on a wall. Toxic senior Customer Service management which hasn't changed in decades, and will target anyone with that shows initiative.

Used to be good before the take over.
The good thingsPrior to the take over this company was one of the best places I had ever worked. Some of the old guard still exist and are good people with a lot of experience, knowledge and camaraderie. Pay is good for metro area work.
The challengesManagement, since being bought out the focus has been purely on cost to the detriment of quality. Year on year they keep cutting and using staff to plug the gaps, people leave and are not replaced as it "saves money" and the job is then split between other workers, they are in a spiral downward. Management doesn't care, they just want profit.
