If you want to get away from everything, you'll love it.
The good thingsRemote, peaceful, and beautiful surroundings.
The challengesRemote, limited access to just about everything. Limited selection for food. Staff accommodation is very outdated and needs a lot of work. Optus is the only service that works, and does not work well. Management is very over bearing. Alcohol restrictions are very strict for staff.

    kinda like prison
The good thingsResort life is easy, no commute, don't have to cook or shop, easy to make friends and a unique part of Australia with beautiful scenery.
The challengesThe place is very run down, they are often running out of supplies and are too cheap to improve the place, its very very bad, guests are often complaining to you about how bad it is and its very expensive. pay isn't great, but rent is cheap and meals(often very very bad) are provided. i don't recommend staying more than 3 months.

The job was okay, the accommodation and the food was so bad. There is no phone signal at all, the internet connection was so expensive and it only works in certain areas.
The good thingsSome of the management were helpful
The challengesIt was in a remote area. There is no phone signal and the food was not good at all.

If you want to feel the real Australia, work here!
The good thingsThe wild and beautiful nature. I could live in middle of nowhere but it's totally safe and charming.
The challengesLiving in remoted area means you have only one place to eat out(excluding staff meals). But the company feeds you and the chefs concern every staff's dietary such as vegan.
