Great training and support in a fast-paced clinic environment.
The good thingsI had a positive experience wit the recruitment process at Laser Clinics Australia. The process was straightforward and communication from the team was clear and professional. One of the standout aspects of working here is the training. The company provides structured training and ongoing education, which is really helpful for building confidence in treatments and consultations. It's a great environment for developing skills, especially for those newer to the aesthetics industry. The clinic environment can be fast paced, but the support from the training and team members helps you adapt quickly. Overall, it's a great place to gain experience and continue developing professionally in aesthetics.
The challengesClinics can get very busy, especially during peak hours or promotional periods, managing back to back appointments requires excellent time management.

    Professional & caring team
The good thingsLaser Clinics replied to my CV & Cover letter so quickly, then the whole process was flawless, zoom style interviews and a follow up checkin from the talent acquisition team made it a really professional and caring process. I am still in the early days of employment, I feel supported by my colleagues and management and the training given has really been great
The challengesPersonally I think to be able to shadow another Cosmetic nurse injector for a week would be beneficial prior to training

Empowered, supported and thriving as a Cosmetic Nurse at Laser Clinics Australia!
The good thingsWorking at Laser Clinics Australia has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my nursing career. I genuinely love how fast-paced, hands-on and client-focused each day is. From in-depth consultations and creating personalised treatment plans to performing cosmetic injectables and seeing clients grow in confidence it’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of their journey. What makes this role even more special is the growth I’ve experienced. My clinical skills, confidence and ability to practice autonomously have strengthened so much, and I’m constantly learning and refining my craft. I feel trusted, supported, and empowered to deliver my best work every day. The culture is another standout!!!! My boss is so approachable, encouraging, and truly invested in my professional development and wellbeing. The team is positive, collaborative, and uplifting!!!!
The challengesThe hardest part can be balancing a busy schedule while ensuring every client feels heard and cared for.

An environment where you’re supported, continuously learning, and encouraged to grow in your career.
The good thingsI’ve really enjoyed the supportive team culture and management, along with the strong focus on ongoing education and training. Compared to boutique clinics, there are far more opportunities for growth, exposure to a wide range of treatments, and clear pathways to continue developing both clinically and professionally. I feel valued, supported, and encouraged to keep learning.
The challengesThe role can be very fast-paced and demanding at times, particularly during busy periods, and it requires good time management and adaptability. However, this environment also helps you build confidence, efficiency, and strong clinical skills.

The good thingsI’ve recently joined the LCA Cairns team and have felt incredibly welcomed and excited about the possibilities ahead. The team is efficient, supportive, and truly committed to providing the highest standard of care for every patient. Opportunities to support practitioner growth through CPD, innovative new technologies, and clear career pathways are openly discussed, and my contributions are genuinely valued. Governance and patient safety are clearly prioritised, and the medical team is fantastic to work alongside. I look forward to a long and rewarding career with the network

Fast-paced, hands-on role with extensive laser and skin treatment experience.
The good thingsFree or heavily discounted treatments (laser hair removal, skin treatments, injectables depending on role) Strong hands-on experience with advanced laser and skin technology Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities Clear treatment protocols that support safe practice Supportive clinic teams and collaborative environment Opportunity to mentor junior therapists and build leadership skills High client volume = fast skill development and confidence growth Visible, rewarding client results
The challengesClearer and more regular salary review and pay rise structures More time allocated per client, especially for advanced skin and laser treatments Greater recognition of clinical skill and experience, not just sales performance Reduced pressure around KPIs so treatment quality remains the main focus Improved workload balance to reduce physical and mental fatigue Clearer career progression pathways for senior and highly skilled therapists More consistent communication between clinic teams and upper management

Great place to learn and provide treatments. Needs longer treatment time for better outcomes.
The good thingsI have enjoyed my employment at LCA. I have seen high rewards with having regular clients and maintaining a positive relationship over time. Seeing results from clients and improving their life has been rewarding. I love learning about skin and dermal therapy.
The challengesThe workload, fast pace treatments. Having expectations to deliver high quality treatments with rushed times is hard to achieve. Poor team communication can hinder performance and treatment services.

Amazing for growing in your career.
The good thingsI began working at Laser Clinics Australia in 2020 after leaving a toxic work environment, and from the very first moment I met the franchisees and stepped into the clinic, I could feel the difference. The environment was warm, friendly, and genuinely positive. Five years on, I can confidently say that this culture has remained consistent. I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a clinic where there is such strong supportfrom head office through to an amazing team of colleagues who make coming to work each day enjoyable. LCA has provided me with exceptional opportunities for growth, supporting my progression from an LHR Therapist to Senior Technician, then 2IC, and now Clinic Manager. I’ve also been given the opportunity to support other clinics and states when needed, whether as a manager or therapist, which has been both rewarding and professionally enriching. I am extremely grateful to be part of this company and cannot recommend working at Laser Clinics Australia highly enough.
The challengesAs with any growing organisation, there is always room for continued improvement, particularly as the business evolves. LCA is already very open to feedback and consistently works towards refining processes and systems.

Positive working environment. Great team from 2022 to 2024
The good thingsOrganised, great management, Awesome group of girls before I went on mat leave
The challengesCurrent management proactivity. A little bit harder to communicate with getting back to work. Not as efficient and accommodating with trying to get my position back after maternity leave as multiple nurses have been recruited. I had to message a friend and she was the one to open up my schedule on the booking system.

Working here has been an amazing experience where I’ve had the freedom to be creative, a supportive team and management behind me and a positive culture that makes challenges enjoyable and rewarding.
The good thingsWorking here has been such a rewarding experience. The team is incredible, talented, collaborative and genuinely supportive of one another. As a creative I’ve been given the freedom and space to explore ideas, push boundaries and bring new concepts to life which is something I truly value. The management team is super supportive and enthusiastic about producing great work and they’re always open to fresh thinking. The culture is positive and fun and no matter how busy things get there’s always someone willing to jump in and help. And I can’t forget the flexibility of working from home a few days a week, it’s a small thing that makes a huge difference. It’s an inspiring place where you can really grow, create, and enjoy the ride while doing it.
The challengesOf course there are challenges. Sometimes things can feel fast-paced or intense when multiple projects are happening at once and it can be a lot to juggle. As a creative it can also be hard to get every idea fully explored when timelines are tight but this pushes you to think smarter and focus on what really matters. The team and management are very supportive so you are never left to struggle alone. There is always someone ready to help or offer guidance. Overall the challenges are real but they are manageable and help you grow and improve while still being part of a positive and fun environment.

The good thingsThe best part of my job is working with such an amazing, supportive team. Everyone always helps each other out and makes the clinic a fun, positive place to be. Our owner is also incredibly supportive and makes sure the clinic is a great place to work. I also love seeing how happy our clients are after their treatments.

A business, brand and team, that is challenging, growing and fulfilling me more that i ever thought possible.
The good thingsWith a career that now spans about 20 years, i can confidently say this is the best chapter yet! I have never felt more engaged, challenged, championed or supported and most importantly, i look forward to coming to work every day. Our wider team and leadership team are open, inspired, passionate experts that quite simply push each other to do and be, better. Our creative team works hard to embed creative thought leadership within the business, and the result is we have freedom, autonomy and trust to do what we do best and make magic - the ultimate privilege as a creative and brand-led group of thinkers. I also feel very fulfilled working for a sector and brand that truly exists to grow people's confidence.
The challengesThe beauty, wellness and aesthetics retail world is fast paced and ever-evolving, which dictates a responsive and intense volume of work, with very tangible impact. It is of course also this challenge, that is rewarding and provides growth - it is also consistent in every beauty brand i have worked with, so unfamiliar to me, and likely what has, over time, created resilience and the ability to project manage effectively.
