Gruelling and demanding job with the only upside being the work cuture
The good thingsFantastic work culture. No corporate ladders or political hierarchies. Central location with nice offices, plenty of natural light. Bonuses and incentives.
The challengesDiallers, diallers and more diallers. Demanding and difficult customers. Initial training is extensive but does not prepare you for the difficult job of collecting purchased debt. Bonuses are ever-changing and difficult to interpret. Limited opportunities for career progression. No email contact with customers.

    Don't get sucked in
The good thingsMy teammates make it bearable
The challengesMiddle management exists just to p1$$ me off, they are more of a hindrance than help, KPI's and monthly targets are ridiculously high, if you work part time they just do not give a s#1t about you if you wish to change something about your work schedule.

Debt collectors do not have to be abrasive and pushy when customers are being cooperative and paying their debts however this is not the view of the management at Lion Finance

Lion Finance is full of great people with endless training and promotion opportunities.
The good thingsLion Finance is a great team working environment with so many oportunities to develop your career further than you would have thought when first applying for the job. There are endless coaching opportunities to better your confidence in your particular role.
The challengesThe challenges in Lion Finance are definitely overcoming objections with customers alongside making your own decision on what's best for the company. Hitting all KPI's can be challenging but you definitely feel like you're doing everything you can when you do reach them which does turn the challenge into a great feeling!
